Con O'Brien is promoting his new HBO show. You better be getting him in the hot seat, he'd be a top 5 episode.
The biggest meme from this show is Shaq with the O face he made
I was a NBC Page during Jason’s time on the cast at SNL. For the season finale, I had to count with a clicker everyone entering Rockefeller Plaza, for the fire Marshall. Most people ignored me as they walked by. But Jason, as he walking and chatting in a big group, says to me “my man, what are we at?” I responded, quite surprised, “three hundred and eleven,” to which he responded with a big smile “ah, 311, great band from Omaha!” Great dude who really is as you see - he’s a real people person.
That's awesome💛
That's really cool
Very cool and I'm from Omaha! lol
Aww that’s great 😊
he sounds straight out of Ted Lasso even in real life
Jason is the human equivalent of a middle aged golden retriever: soft and warm and just happy to be around.
YUCK
@@metromusic5725 you're such a bitter hatter 😅 it's quite pathetic to see.

I wish I could thank everyone on the Ted lasso show for creating a show that felt like a friend.
All of these comments about Ted Lasso makes me want to try watching it again, is it really centered around sports? That’s what I think kept me from getting invested in the 1st episode.
@@alexisgutierrez677it kinda is, but in a very accessible way. I’m not really into soccer but i reaaally liked the show a lot! Defenitely worth a try
@@alexisgutierrez677best way I could describe it is: I’m not a fan of typical “hospital/first responder” shows, but I love Scrubs. I’m a sports fan but not very invested in soccer, but I love Ted Lasso. Bill Lawrence is the common denominator with both shows, that plus amazing actors like Sudeikis, John C McGinley, Donald Faison, Zach Braff etc… make the shows so good. Lawrence knows a heartwarming story and he knows the people who can succeed in the roles.
@alexisgutierrez677 I don't like soccer and I adore Ted Lasso. I think that it's truly one of the best shows ever made. It really subverts expectations.

Jason’s impression of Owen Wilson was so spot on! I can’t believe Sean didn’t comment on it

he probably did and then it got cut in editing haha its too good not to comment!
His Norm one was pretty good too lol
i thought he sounded like he was trying to be heath ledger's joker 😂

That Owen Wilson impression killed me. So happy to see Jason on here ❤
His imitation of Norm absolutely nails the cadence too
I came to the comments looking for this exact observation! Dead on, Jason nailed Owen!
That was sooo good! Someone loved that too. I'm glad 😂
so happy to see him on here!❤
LOL!! 😆🤣
I just remembered the Trent Crimm episode in season 1 where Ted ate very spicy Indian food for the first time and bravely finished them as to not come off as rude to Olly’s family. He should have used his line to Sean “is my tongue still in my mouth?” Missing Ted Lasso.
😂😂 this such a great comment
LOVE how Jason asked Sean questions too. He’s such an amazing and humble human being. ❤
Be curious not judgemental is an ethos of Ted Lasso and Jason
They all do but ya he really asked quite a bit, actually felt it kinda kept him from answwring/being asked
This guy just exudes the best vibes. So pleased to see him on this show.
So true

@@kathleenclark815 how so?
@@marieu5300 Hi Marie and anyone else who ends up reading this :)) - I truly hope you’re having a great day just thought I’d give my two cents on this situation.
I think he would have to be the best, most talented actor in the world if he had the capacity to be that malicious, disrespectful and mean in his private life to someone he once loved and the mother of his children. Only to publicly come across this genuinely kindhearted and be talked about by the cast and crew on his show like he’s as sweet as sugar and as harmless as a fly. Obviously I don’t condone it if he did do that on purpose, it was horrible and I sympathise deeply with Olivia. Her grace and composure in that situation was admirable to say the least but to quote the most recent episode of Ted Lasso: "I hope that either all of us or none of us are judged by the actions of our weakest moments, but rather by the strength we show when and if we're ever given a second chance."
Sorry for the essay haha I speak in a very convoluted way irl and apparently that transfers to CZcams comment sections too. Again, I hope you have a great rest of your day. :))

Ted Lasso is one of the greatest shows of all time and I can’t even imagine a show that could match it for its humor, positivity, and great characters.
@22:20 he foreshadows the end of Ted Lasso with the return to KC.
@@TheFutureofthePlanet the finale bummed me out. It wasn’t bad but I felt like certain things that might have made the series end brighter couldn’t happen because of the spin-offs they seem to want to pursue.
@@SmartFool24 I bawled my eyes out in the last episode! What a series
I loved that show!! I was so sad to see it end but it ended so perfectly.
Good lord you are easily impressed
The thing people probably don't realize about a good interview is when the person being interviewed takes a vested interest in the other person and asks questions back. Jason did this masterfully and it goes to show what a genuinely good guy he is.
I was just coming here to say this. You can tell who the genuinely nice guests are when we learn something about Sean in the episode too.
The story at 7:20 is a perfect example. How he is genuinely interested and wants to know what happened.
Hear here!
Jason is clearly curious rather than judgmental.
Wow he masterfully asked questions back, what a great guy, such wow
Ted Lasso is honestly one of the most pure hearted characters I've ever seen, always loved the show and I was happy to see him on here
100% - he has a Dale Cooper-like innocence and sincerity that's so endearing.
@@robcampbell3387 I think it’s more than that. He is not innocent, he just chooses to be kind, even with his own problems

Theo Von was another great interview on here. He actually asks Sean questions as well, and Sean really seems to open up and share about himself! 😊
Colin Farrell asked him some great questions too. His is one of my all time favorite Hot Ones 🔥 ❤
Jake Gyllenhaal was pretty funny too and asked Sean some silly but funny questions 😂
He has kind eyes. They do this thing naturally where he is always smiling with his eyes. It's great. Love Jason

He seems nice but cant say the interview was that interesting sadly :(
@@thestar37 I think It is a comedian specific problem to be honest. Hot wings are not going to be enough to tear down their walls. Jason is still too "on it" to make it feel like he is opening up and we are seeing a new side of him. He is just trying to land crisp one liners sometimes in even a defensive mode. The same Jason you always see and love, but not new and exciting at all. Sean carries this.
@@tacotom3492 I unexpectedly and strongly have to agree. Its about when the guest really delves. I think of a David Harbor or similar. they break down things and go deep. Sometimes the actors, but also comedians, musicians.
Okay but Jason absolutely crushed the wings. What a pro.
Legitimately crushed them. I can't handle spice very well, I would've been out on the second wing. There should be a follow up show on how all of these celebs feel the day after doing this.

He really is just a nice person. I’m from KC, and many years ago, when Big Slick first started, he and Will Ferrell were out at one of the bars in my local neighborhood. I was celebrating my 21st birthday with several friends and my family and he offered to buy us all shots of whatever I wanted.
Doing KC proud!
Jason is such a treasure. He should be so proud of Ted Lasso. That show is so rich.
I finally got around to watching this episode. Last night I watched the Finale of Ted Lasso and I absolutely bawled my eyes out. It's legit the best show I've ever watched, and I'm glad Jason Sudeikis seems to be just as nice irl as Ted is in the show.
I really loved the chemistry here. I also like that Jason got Sean to tell the story of the chicken going down the wrong tube. It was a conversation as much as an interview.
I love that Sean always answers their questions so honestly as well. It’s great when the guests involve everybody, and don’t make it just about themselves.
Never cancel this show. PLEASE!!
I'm glad you said. That (in the moment) I've thought that same thing many times (I really like that Sean tries to answer guests' questions honestly).
But after the interview I forget that I had that thought.
Your comment made me remember/realize that I've felt the same way many times.
Luckily it can't be cancelled because it's not a network television show. Of course, Sean could decide to stop but I doubt that will happen anytime soon
@@VideoNozoki OP literally states... "never cancel this show please".
Only watched about a dozen of these things so far but I did notice that most people just take a bite and then react whereas Jason's approach to this thing was, "I'm hungry, I'm eating all of each wing. It's hot? Oh well, guess this whole wing will be hot then." Huge respect to him for that.
Watch the episode with Issa Rae. She devours every wing. Its awesome. She kept saying how hungry she was
Jason just clearing those wings like it was nothing wow!
Ted Lasso will forever be one of the greatest shows, and it will be sorely missed.
Jason Sudeikis and Paul Rudd should team up for the most wholesome buddy comedy film
Two really genuinely nice, wholesome guys who end up in increasingly sketchy and morally testing situations and just always assume the best in everyone and somehow make it out unscathed. I'd watch that.

Jason is such a gentleman and going back for the "Da BomB" to finish. My HERO!
He handled that like a champ! Such an empathetic and chill dude as well.
Jason killed it! No crying, no runny nose, no whining. He’s a rock star 🌟
I finished the finale of Ted Lasso, then immediately started binging through the series again. Hearing Jason without Ted's accent took me by surprise for a minute. I doubt Jason will ever read this, but I just have to say my absolute thanks to the complete story told by you and the rest of the cast and crew of the show. The level of authenticity in your approach with mental illnesses, the ups and downs in life and Ted's positive approach with others. Absolutely phenomenal and one of the greatest shows for all time. Sad to see the characters for a final time, but not much better ways to end the show. Again thank you.
That Owen Wilson impression was SPOT ON 💀
all that was missing was a healthy, drawn-out "wow"
So glad Jason came on! I gotta say, it's crazy to me that this whole episode, there was no discussion about the scene in season 1 of Ted Lasso where Jason goes to an Indian restaurant and talks about how the food is so hot he's starting to hallucinate
Was thinking about that episode the entire time and also hoping that it would get a mention. Love that scene.
Why do I tear up at any mention of Ted Lasso? What an incredible show.
Jason being open and vulnerable about his take on SNL before being hired.....wow! He just exudes positive energy
Jason is honestly a legend don’t think I’ve listened to a celebrity as down to earth and perceptive as him it’s mad
I love how the celebrities always give him the time to talk. Most are insanely respectful, love to see it.
Ever since DJ Khaled, I totally agree that they've really done a spectacular job at vetting some excellent and respectful guests!
Honestly I wish I had a friend like Jason Sudeikis. He just seems like a fun guy to be around
Jason is just a genuine human being. I love that at some point it switches, and it's just a true normal conversation. Shows so much about him
Jason seems so genuine, doesn't exude a shred of arrogance in my opinion. This was a great episode
Yep nice guy
Jason is such a great guy. I went to an early movie premiere of his years ago and afterwards saw him walking out, I’m a huge fan and decided this was my moment to ask for a photo. As I walked up his bodyguard said “no pictures no!” Before I could even say anything. I look at Jason and ask him and he goes “yeah let’s do this!” And takes a photo with me. One of my best memories.
i feel u kinda
i mean he was nice about it but you do see how that was disrespectful right? like once you heard "no pictures" you should've been like okay and left and at best, probably apologized.
"Before I could even say anything, I look at Jason and ask him" - so you were able to say something, and you just asked Jason directly after being told no.
I don’t approach celebrities unless they approach me first. Don’t be a bothering dork.
Jason is deep down the amalgamation of all the good, kindness and simple profound truths to his natural core.
I adore him. He has the kindest eyes. And Ted Lasso was the best show with such a good finale
Something about his eyes are so warm! Glad im not the only one that notices this!

Jason Sudeikis is a class act of a man, super nice guy irl. Met him at a basketball game and he was kind enough to double back to take a picture with my younger brother when I took him to a Lakers game. Jason may be one of the coolest guys ever. Thanks for creating and sharing Ted Lasso with the world. Absolutely loved it!
This is my absolute favorite "hot ones". Jason was very real and down to earth and has the best smile! The reason it my favorite is because with the 3 best smiles on camera, excluding Blaine. But the host , the guest , Norm..just the best smiles. The only one missing is Paul Rudd, then it would be my perfect show. It's not often you see the great smile of the host, he has to give that big smile more often. It's a great smile! Thanks for doing this, it's amazing!
I met Jason Sudiekis at the second city one time (technically twice that night) and he was so insanely nice. Like just seemed like such a good soul. He did tell my ex that he had “an honest face” so a terrible judge of character but other than that he’s great😂
Just cuz someone looks like they are honest don’t mean that they are….in fact, that is a big part of why people are able to con and worse
Did he look at you right after he said that?

I really want to see a series where Shaun visits the places that make these sauces. First episode would have to be where they make Da Bomb. Be able to see how this show has helped their businesses.
I had no idea what Ted Lasso was about until I saw another youtuber review an episode. I started watching it and I got hooked immediately. It's not a sports show so much as it is about personal growth and finding who you are in the world that thinks you are not important. Brilliant script writing on that one.
I like the fact you can hear people laughing behind the camera. He is part of the best SNL ensemble that I have watched.
Jason Sudeikis is da bomb. Took it like a champ, not a sign of more than a single tiny tear in his eye. 🔥
Just his lips
I would think having no sense of smell would be beneficial in this case :) "Sudeikis was born with anosmia, leaving him with no sense of smell."
Jason is just charming. I could listen to him talk, do magic and eat wings all day. Bravo!!

Love Jason and his work. Seems like a genuinely great dude. Congrats to him on a great run of Ted Lasso, which is coming to an end this week. I don't think anyone else could've done the role justice.
Jason seems like such a nice guy, someone that would just chat away and genuinely care about what you were saying. He just gives off that vibe.😊
The most present actor I’ve ever seen. Over and over and over. If you’re accused of phoning it in, study this guy. So strong.
As I'm rewatching ted lasso for the 3rd time, I couldn't be happier to see this guest ❤

I love how Jason is so likable that in so many of his roles, he seems like he’s playing himself which is great he’s been able to do that so long.
But man. Ted Lasso has been his TIME to SHINE. As a writer, and also allowing him to flex his acting range.
Like it’s to the point where I’ve watched so much Ted Lasso, that when I see classic Jason without the mustache and just his usual goatee, I’m actually jarred now how he made Ted Lasso sooo distinct from his other roles.
And I loved him even before Ted Lasso. I loved him on SNL and We’re the Millers. But man, he gave his ALL in Ted Lasso.
Maybe the best interviewer ever. So so so good. The guestions, everything. Respect!
Check out Sam Jones Off Camera. He is an amazing interviewer as well.
I love Ted Lasso so much and I was already a big fan of Jason from his past movies. This guy, I mean. Him and Paul Rudd, both Kansas boys and both exudes kindness and overall nice, down to earth dudes. I wish it’s not the end of Ted Lasso but if it is, then I don’t mind doing reruns all the time. ❤

A really small detail is that Sean referenced the “Andy Reid coaching tree”. He could have used any other big name coach to make that reference but he used Andy Reid because of the connection to KC. Sean is so good at relating to the guests and calling out things they are familiar with.
Been saying it for years. The "Spicy Shark" brand NEEDS to make it on the lineup. Their sauces are so freaking good and we go to Sharkcon in Tampa, FL every year to get their sauces. I've always loved Jason and this made me love him even more! As a Kansas man, loved how he plugged all the the KS places in this! So proud he remembers where he grew up and does everything he can for the community!
Absolutely love that he asked the questions I’ve always wanted to get answered by Sean
This was such an incredible episode! The chemistry between Jason and Sean was electric. There are certain episodes where you can clearly tell where there's very little connection between Sean and the person being interviewed because the pacing is straight Question->Answer->Question->Answer.
Jason is such a force of goodness that he drew Sean in almost immediately and the entire flow of the interview basically became question->answer->banter and they just genuinely enjoyed riffing off each other.
Jason's answers and stories were also hilarious, insightful, and sincere.
