That line was so true and insightful to his amazin acting knowledge....it's that part of trying not to cry that hits us emotionally different as a viewer.....crazzyyyy
I can sit through a movie/show with something sad happening and not feel the impulse to cry if the characters are. But if the characters are not crying I feel a need to empathize with them. Not something I ever though of before. Interesting.
reminds me of The Last of Us (episode 3) from this past week.. so many people cried from that episode for obvious reasons and one reason was the great performances and seeing a man who you know does not cry easily..just break down :(

Not even close, only role his played that stand out is Walter in breaking bad and that's about it. To be a good actor you need to have quantity.
His impersonation of Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman is astoundingly good, because he didn't try and mimic the actual sound of his voice, but mimicked the inflections *SO* well that it is a perfect impersonation

I actually had the pleasure of meeting Brian Cranston after a small play he did in LA. He is without a doubt one of the kindest and most genuine people in Hollywood.

Bryan Cranston has got to be the best interviewee ever. His story telling is awesome! I love how he goes into every little bit of what he says in detail, but at the same time, makes it so understandable, relatable, and entertaining that the listeners and even Sean is engaged and listening.
Easily the most real actor out there. This man is somebody every single person on the planet would enhance their life by having a simple conversation with. This was an absolute joy to watch.

Bryan Cranston's voice is so soothing. I love listening to him talk about anything, especially since he's such a great storyteller.

You can tell Sean (like most of us) is just mesmerized with how Bryan loves to share his experiences and how genuine he is, and you can tell just by looking at how he does it.
Imagine yourself in a calm demeanour, telling a younger kid or someone younger than you something that you learned at exactly that age. There is a great joy in sharing experiences and stories that one learned from.
It's the same here, he is like a grandfather and Sean is like a younger kid or grandkid.

What I'm trying to say is that even if he's not that old whenever there's a small age gap, the older people will always (most of them) will be telling you something, a story, an experience that has lesson of their mistakes, etc. which the younger if they are listening can benefit from (sometimes)

He's an actor, it's all honed and very well-rehearsed. Not to say he's not genuine, but he practices all of that and consciously makes use of it in order to be an effective speaker

This is the first Bryan Cranston interview I've seen in completion (not a random clip of an interview). What a captivating guy and probably the fact that it was a Hot Ones interview made it even more enjoyable. I've never ssen an episode of Breaking Bad but everybody says I gotta check it out.

I watched Brian Cranston on Malcom in the Middle growing up and then on Breaking Bad in my early 20s.Ive never watched an interview with him before now. I'm surprised how eloquent and wise he is in real life. Very practical and down to earth and even inspiring.
Every time I'm amazed at how grounded, humble and wise he appears to be. A true role model in dedication, talent and humility.

I've gotta say, that was easily one of the best Hot Ones interviews I've seen to date. Bryan Cranston feels absolutely insightful and genuine while clearly enjoying the wings. He feels like he is giving thoughtful answers and isn't just here to promote his show.

The way he talked about Vin got me choked up. Really made the hurt of Vin's passing sting again. Someone I never knew in the flesh, but I can say I share Bryan's memory of Vin.
One of my legit favorite actors ever! Actors like him, Robin & Jim, actors that could seamlessly go from comedy to drama are the most talented in my opinion!
He's probably one of the wisest people out there. You can hear it when he speaks. He speaks wisdom from his experiences and listening to him feels like a privilege.

As someone who's going through a hard time, there were a few segments that hit hard to hear. The preparation that Sean goes thru each interview really shows. The questions are always really great and well thought out.. Keep em coming ;)
I love how Sean always asks super thoughtful, open-ended questions that allows the interviewee to take it where ever they may want to go. Just a master class in interviewing 101.
And no matter how often he does it Da Bomb still hits him as hard as the guest he's interviewing, but like Bryan did, he always keeps it consistent and intelligent. A master class in grace under pressure, on both sides in this one.
I think the phrase "masterclass in x 101" is kinda funny, because 101 is the number for an entry-level class

This episode really just pulled me in. Bryan Cranston's ability to completely immerse you in his monologue is impressive.
When he asked a rhetorical question i actually nodded in acknowledgment
I am amazed how many times Sean Evans can go with these different sessions with different people, and all love to both of them, Bryan Cranston is so genuine.
There are a lot of actors/actresses that just comfort you, with their charisma, intelligence and the amazing characters they are bringing to life. Bryan is one of them.
"Forgiveness is a human stength... if you can't say you're sorry you will never be in a long term relationship" so true. Bryan knows his acting and his life experiences.
Great episode.
This concept took me far too long in life to learn but I am grateful I was able to. Forgiveness lifts such a weight off of our shoulders and makes life a much more pleasant experience.

He's one of the few people of what I call the "true actors" generations that we are slowly not seeing anymore in the big screens. You can see how much he loves acting, how seriously he takes and how much educated he is about acting. I'm glad that shows like this give him the opportunity to show how smart and down to earth he truly is, instead of watching him make a funny joke or two or play games at Fallon.

I've seen a good number of these interviews, but I have to say, Bryan Cranston is definitely my favorite of the actors that've been on. Both incredibly wise and funny!
Easily one of the best guests. Hopefully he'll return in another 8 years questioning how this show will outlive us all.

Sean has elevated the cheesy experience of eating spicy wings into a treasure of interviewing people of substance and consequence. It could be the most cringe-inducing show and he elevates it with thoughtful questions and delightful guests.
He also is an amazing host. He allows his guests to speak and he just listens. That makes it even more engageful.
It's a hangout activity for average people. Only as cheesy as the company one keeps!
He's an amazing host; he doesn't ask intrusive questions (as far as I know) and is courteous and actually makes meaningful conversation with them. He isn't your average interviewer who's fiending 24/7 for dirt on people and ask questions to try and slip people up
You're not wrong but please remember that this is a "what's your project" promotional channel. Better usual questions than ~late night~ series, to be fair :)
The picture they showed of younger Bryan shows how well they chose an actor for the role of Walter JR/Flynn, they look super similar but just different enough to pull off the child/parent connection
Hands down, the best interview Sean has ever done. I don't think I could ever get tired of hearing Bryan Cranston speak.
