20% on the sides and 70% on the entire windshield all ceramic is perfect. You forget how nice & cool it keeps the car until you get into a rental car

I always like doing the back windows in ceramic even if it is a clear ceramic tint, since there is no heat rejection in the back, just "stained" glass in the back for privacy

Yep, gonna do tinting soon. Likely ceramic on windshield and front windows and just regular tint the rest of the windows since most of our driving is east to west or the other way around.

Hey John its been a fews days since you had the Tundra tinted with the XR Plus. I'm wondering if you can tell a difference between the Sequoia done in XR Prime and the Tundra done in XR Prime...

Hey! I can actually. Not like insanely different, but I can tell a little bit of a difference.
I would have to change those big side mirrors to regular size mirrors. To me they just distract from the truck. Only need to to have such large mirrors if you tow a box trailer. If driving in tight traffic those things will get knocked off. Will they adjust in so they don't stick out so far? By the way, the tint looks great but I would never put it on a windshield because it will effect your visibility under certain conditions at night and driving in the rain..
I've noticed no difference at night, it is actually better for glaring light in my opinion. The mirrors are as far in as they can go.
Hey Jon, I'd like your feedback from driving a long bed vs short bed. How is it around town, U-Turns, parking lots, etc. Thanks!
Turning radius isnt the best. Around town it is fine. No issues. Parking is a pain, but I just walk more.
@TRDJon I'm debating whether to consider the short or long bed. I have limited needs for a long bed, but for years, I've said, "Toyota needs to make a long bed Tundra..." now it's here, I feel it's too long? 🤣🤦♂️ I'm also considering the exact spec you have, minus tow mirrors. I just got the same platinum tundra but mine has the AVS. Wondering if you plan on doing any lifts or tires on this one like you did on your last Tundra.

I was looking to get pano roof done you did 20% ceramic on that correct? Ive heard in the past that it can end up getting too hot because it traps the heat and shatter the roof glass but if yours is ok down in Florida i guess it will be fine

I was hoping you'd show how the pano looks like at night with it being tinted but you forgot. How dark is it at night? I like keeping my pano shade open and would still like to appreciate the evening skies, so I'm curious how that's been after the ceramic tint.
No darker than the wind sheild honestly. You can still see out and see light during night
So Jon, what's up with all the Toyota dealerships charging paint and fabric protection? Did your dealership charge you that for your tundra? I just don't want to pay the extra 900 bucks for that. Personally I think it's a scam. Just wondering what your thoughts are.

Jon does this affect your visibility much and how are you liking it still. I've never tinted mine before was thinking 20 around and 50 on the windshield.
Night time is great. I like it cuz it helps with night time glare of other lights I would do this all over again for sure.

you should be able to have 70 percent on the windshield and nobody would know by just looking. Just dont be dumb getting 50 percent and darker on there

Well done, looks great! Can someone clarify pls...my dealer did the front and passenger windows at no cost but when I asked them to do the windshield (I'd pay) he told me that the state of GA doesn't allow windshield tinting? State by state thing?
Florida is the same. You’ll need to have a shop do it. Dealers are very by the book
