I started with Assassin’s Blade and I’m happy with my decision thus far. I’m on Crown of Midnight now, and a lot of the small tidbits you get about the main character make a lot more sense as you read 😀👍🏻
I read AB before TOG and I’m happy about it as now I’m on TOG and I feel more connected to the main character and that I know what’s going on (they refer to quite a bit of stuff from the “prequel”)

I read Assassins Blade first and am happy with my decision to do that! It was nice to get a glimpse into the characters life/back stories before going into TOG! 🥰

One thing you might want to try to get different prompts- is to hold the ones from the previous month out until you pick the new ones, that way you’re guaranteed the newer prompts?

I don't remember brainding sweetgrass as being short stories but I might be wrong! I would maybe recommend you read the audiobook instead if you are in a reading slump, it's read by the author and the nature themes and reflections with the author's voice healed a little part of my soul :3
I read the TOG series twice already (yes i’m that obsessed) and recommend assassin’s blade first for sure!
Metamorphosis was such a weird book for me to read! It is very interesting and I think I rated it a 3.8 - maybe a 4? But I read it for class, and yeah- very weird indeed!!!!! 😄
I am 100% an Assassin's Blade first girlie! It just makes logical sense to me to read the prequel first. It would have felt so weird to read it between Crown of Midnight and Heir of Fire for me. Also Better Than The Movies is absolutely the BEST! I love it ❤️ You're gonna have a great reading month!
I think that if you start with assassin's blade it's more confusing. I read tog, crown of midnight and then assassin's blade and it hit way more than it would've if I read it first. you'll care more about the stories because the first two books only allude to them, so it makes you more invested!

I just subscribed to your channel. I just finished a reread of ACOTAR and getting ready to reread ACOMAF. Then I will continue with the rest of the series which I have never read. I did read the first two books in the Throne of Glass series before I knew you were supposed to read the ACOTAR series first. I have heard the same thing about the order in which to read Assassin's Blade. Some hard core fantasy readers have said to read Assassins's Blade first. So, that is what I am planning to do. I am having to force myself to read because I have been in a slump also. Hope you start feeling like reading again soon.
I read Assassin’s Blade after Crown of Midnight and regretted it! Assassin’s Blade is a great book but if you read it after the first two, it’ll ruin the shock of the ending. I definitely recommend reading it first, before Throne of Glass

I have not read ACOTAR yet because the storyline of TOG was what caught my attention more. I read Assassins Blade first and I’m so happy I made that decision. I’m on queen of shadows and it’s so good. There has not been a bad book yet and Ive hear you can read TOG without reading ACOTAR just not before Cresent City.
Reading ‘The Will of the Many’ now, and great choice of passing on it for now, because not only is it 600+ pages, it’s such a huge book in size as well, so there’s so many words per page and its material is DENSE. I swear it takes me 3 minutes to read each page. Very intriguing so far though!

I read Throne of Glass first and it's fine. I finally started the ACOTAR series and I'm not having any issues.
I loved mindf*ck series and butcher and blackbird still so hard to figure out what I like with dark romances, but I really wanna read haunting adaline, so that might be my next. 😊

Holy crap so alarmed by all of the people reading AB first hahaha. I would have DNFed the series because it would have not meant anything to me without knowing the characters first! It’s a series of novellas that just don’t hit as hard without knowing the people first haha. Follow the authors recommended order for a reason!! Lmao
