- How I Studied in Medical School: RemNote is a note-taking tool that was built with the best evidence-based learning strategies in mind. Strategies like active recall, spaced repetition, interleaving, testing effect, and feynman were all cornerstones of our study habits in medical school. We built RemNote to help students apply practical research from the fields of psychology and neuroscience. RemNote turns all of your notes into flash cards, and makes studying easy by telling you when the best times are to study. In this video, I'll be doing a walkthrough of a typical study session, from book to notes to brain and retention.

the remnote is not free....pay 4 image occlusion ..really!....anki gives that 4 free....
Best part is you can make flashcards at the same time as you're making your notes simply by inserting the double colon. Acing everything so far this semester, thanks guys.

The system is exactly the way that I think, and on top of that I no longer have to take my notes, then transfer my notes to anki. Everything is so much more compact and less time consuming. thank u so much!

Can you make like 1 hour video of all techniques of rem notes you use to study.
Thanks for a nice workflow demonstration! I've seen in a lot of your videos that you use a lot of portals. I also been trying to use portals a lot to minimize repetition of similar information as i'm studying similar concepts in different contexts for med school. How do you deal with portals to make them appear in a specific queue to study flashcards? I've found you can only get them in the queue if they're opened, which kind of kills proper reading and workflow in a document in remnote. Do you know any way around this?

there will be a couple more videos in this series that I haven't released yet and those will go in the card, I'll have to go back and put them in all the videos. You can also find the playlist at the end of the video!
What version of RemNote is this because it looks so different? I've noticed watching a lot of these videos that there are subtle differences in keys or the way things look, but no one ever says what version they are using.
Can I use remnote for physics test though.. for numeric problems?
Is there a way to work together with other people on a RemNote document? Sharing looks like a snapshot of MY document and cant be eddited by a co-worker? Would be such a great feature!
Not yet but that’s the dream! Sharing is crucial and we are currently building out more features for it

How to use remnotes on ipad if an app is not available? Does that mean remnotes arent available in any apple devices? I'm so confused.

It is great for learning languages. To start, Make flashcards for new words and phrases, and use the spaced repetition to memorize and apply them
@@KoiAcademy So the best environment to work with remnote is the laptop / pc, right? on an Ipad I‘ve had a few troubles so far
@@LaLeLu12209 yea laptop/pc is best right now. You can download and use the offline version. We are currently working on iOS and hope to get it ready asap

Remnote is great software - much more polished than roam. thank you. you must have a very talented developer working on your ui, in particular.
Do you have plans to add a "link" button for each "unlinked reference" on a page?
our developers are amazing. Yea, that's such a quality of life change that we hope to do soon!
It is not for iOS so I can't use on my iPad :(
Is there a desktop application for Remnote?
we are currently building it and it should hopefully be done by the end of the month at the earliest! For now, if you are using chrome browser, you can use the progressive web app which allows you to work offline. Just click on the plust sign "+" immediately to the right of the URL address in the chrome browser!

Rishi Rajasekaran if you sign up for an account (using a credit card) you will get 2 weeks of skillshare for free. That’s plenty of time to watch the entire course, and when you are done you can cancel your membership if you don’t want to pay
