I went to school w/ Beyonce. She was 3 years older, though, so we weren't close, but since it was a small, private (Episcopal) school, we knew each other. She was very sweet and kind...but unfortunately, sweet and kind do not get you into heaven. Vague spirituality does not get you right with God. I see what she wears and does and sings about, and it grieves me, so I pray for her. I'd encourage all Christians to pray for those in the public sphere who *claim* to be Christians, yet don't *act* like it. Pray that they will repent of their sins and be saved.

I have cousins on my mom's side that are into witch things, ghost hunting, ouija board, etc. One cousin and I were having a text conversation about "religion" she is Catholic and she was being so rude and I was praying for her and God told me to stop wasting my time bc she will not be going to heaven and for me to break ties with her. So I did and do not regret it
I love how humor plays a central role in a way that expresses loving kindness with regard to such dark matters, and on matters that are trivial, so long as they are dark in nature; and hence, not of the Lord. But, instead point the way out of it rather than giving it power. That is a breath of fresh air to me in a world that is utterly and almost completely saturated with such dark media! I have a funny story about stealing. I recently ordered your book, Out Of The Comfort Zone. It was delivered, but another resident in the building took the delivery box it came in (whether mistakenly or not, I don't know) from the package room, and didn't return it when she realized it wasn't her package. So, I just hoped and prayed she'd read it and get saved. ☺️

The nose ring thing has always puzzled me. Originally, it was put in the noses of cattle to control them (grab hold and twist to make them go in the direction you want, or thread rope through to guide them). So what is the attraction with wanting to look like a cow? Does it cross their minds that I could control them by grabbing it and twisting?
Its true that we can't know someones heart but the bible says that we can judge them by their fruits. And her fruit is not good for human consumption. I don't understand why "christians" would let this stuff in their lifes? We need to ask ourselfs "how is this glorifying God"? If its not why let it in our life. Look with all the movies and "entertainment" that glorifies evil its hard to listen or watch anything these days,Paul made it clear all things are lawfull for me, but not things are helpful. If that movie is not going to help you why watch it? we could watch it so we can relate to the people in the world but not to indorse it. That could be one reason but then you are going it for the glory of God. But we need to be careful because we can get so relaxed we start to love watching these things and then its no longer about the glory of God but the glory of the evil one. And if you are a young Christian (not very learned in the scriptures) you should not let this stuff in at all, but let's faces it your not strong enough to fight that battle. The more we study and seek Godly wisdom and understand what it means to fear God ,the more we can study the world and the evil that is in it. Look ats a battlfield out there and many "christains" don't know it. They are out there with armor. Like a kid in traffic. Its time to get real and pick up your sword (bible) and get to work. Put on the armor of God and get in the fight. But you need to be ready to get hit because you will get hit. But remember that it is Gods strength that is with you and fights on your side.

Hey guys, I appreciate your ministry and have been blessed by it over the years. With that said, I would encourage living waters to watch this segment on Beyonce and the super bowl (see bottom). There is much more than meets the eye here. It is extremely important what we and our children put before our eyes Psalms 101:3. I wonder if we should take music more seriously as a tool in which Satan uses to lead people into the occult. The occult is real and we as Christians have a duty to be discerning in this area. I am not in agreement with some of Joe Schimmels theology however, he has done a great deal of research in the connection between the occult and music. I believe you will find it extremely insightful, consistent with scripture and a far cry from a conspiracy theory. Because, as a minister, I can tell you that "bait & switch" tactics might work in car sales, but it doesnt not bring people to the cross. These seeker friendly churches give you an "experience" and when that goes away, so does your "feeling" about God. It sounds like you have a great family friendly recreation center their, dont get me wrong. I would rather watch sports game their than at a sports bar - however, on a Sunday I would rather be in Church, and I am certain thats where God wants me.
We don't. I didn't. Rarely do. I watched the Steelers a couple of times when I lived in Pittsburgh. They had some great players: Polamalu, Hines, & others. They are a great team, and I wanted to be supportive. But as a rule, I never was into sports and don't like watching sports (save some of the winter sports).

Just wondering why you think having a super bowl event at church would be embracing the world? I think it did the opposite :D Personally, I didn't watch the game, but I was able to play games in the other room and fellowship with my fellow Christians as well as visitors who were able to be witnessed to! :D
Well, if you are going to mix the world in with your church, I would say that halloween and christmas are two very important Holidays to embrace, get them while they are young, right?

It sounds like you have a great family friendly recreation center their, dont get me wrong. I would rather watch sports game their than at a sports bar - however, on a Sunday I would rather be in Church, and I am certain thats where God wants me.
We don't. I didn't. Rarely do. I watched the Steelers a couple of times when I lived in Pittsburgh. They had some great players: Polamalu, Hines, & others. They are a great team, and I wanted to be supportive. But as a rule, I never was into sports and don't like watching sports (save some of the winter sports).
I agree this is a matter of ... " you shall know them by their fruits".... I dont think its okay to discuss if someone is saved based on their theological stance at times.... but in these blatant cases of the person not showing any true regeneration or zeal for God we are almost justified by saying she is NOT a CHristian.... I hate that my country (Singapore) is still known as the place that 'flogged' the American guy who vandalized property like 30 years ago. It's also great place of commerce and diverse cultures, one of the most important financial hubs in the world and a great melting pot where you can meet people from ALL over the world. Also a place with a growing Christian community. C'mon guys..let's open our minds to the world!
