- I've had my Voima for a month now, but due to unusual circumstances creating a very busy life, I haven't been able to ride it very much....
So it's time to go hit Skypark and see how the Voima rides! Be sure to "Like" and Subscribe!!! - Sport
Met you at the shop today and said I would follow you! 😂
A man of his word!
Awesome! That bike looks sick! Considering between the Voima and specialized turbo Levo carbon. Thanks brother! Be safe and God bless
You can’t go wrong with the Voima. Highly recommended!
@@ADubMTB did you opt for any upgrades?
Nothing from the factory. My only performance enhancing upgrade was, I replaced the RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate air shock with an Ohlins TTX22M.2 coil. Totally worth it!
Nice video man. I just rode my Voima at Snow Summit bike park yesterday and it was fucking awesome! I have a 40 on mine though. 🤘🏻😎
Nice!
I have a Vikkela on order (the non motorized version of your bike), and there are no videos of it out there yet, aside from Pole has put out. Excited to get it, I went with the gold for double the stares. Hope you're still enjoying the Voima. I'm a bit worried about the suspension and 190mm travel, it's a big step up from my trail bike.
I went with a long, slack, big-hit, long-travel bike (the Pole Machine) years ago, and never looked back! I don’t know where you ride, but here, I love the long-travel for the rock gardens, drops, jumps, etc. It’s all personal preference, but I will never ride a trail bike again. The suspension travel (when you need it) for downhill fun, is worth so much more than any uphill pedaling benefit.
Hi Jamisonr, may I ask you your experience ? Want to buy the frameset of the Vikkela
@@user-ep9qx5rg3b I love it, about to go for a ride in a few minutes actually. The slightly higher BB versus my Specialized means I do not really ever pedal strike things any more. I have the Cane Creek Kitsuma Coil shock, and I really like the feel along with the sensei rear. Hard to say which is providing the most benefit though. I've not been the biggest fan of the '23 Zeb Ultimate, finding it hard to get to where I want.
@@jamisonr Think a FOX38 should do the trick, progresson on Rockschocks is totally different.
I just heard yesterday that Pole went out of business, so now I guess I have a collector's item.
how does it perform on technical steep sharp curves ?
It performs better than I do, on technical steep sharp curves! It is equal to, or even better than, the Pole Machine, which is / was the best downhill bike I have ridden before the Voima. So, to sum up, it is awesome!!!
@@ADubMTB Thank you for reply :-) 👍
Just a little nice to know fact. "Voima" is finnish word for "power"
And Pole means “pedal!” So, literally “pedal power!”
@@ADubMTB Pole is not Any word. Pedal is poljin.
@@akilrl85 I think pole is a slang word for polje, which means pedal. Isn’t Pole from Jyväskylä?
@@elonkuva Finnish language is such a mess that it migh actually be some slang word that I’m not aware of. Pole is from central Finland. I think originally from Jyväskylä. Word pedal is poljin
*Disclaimer* I do not speak Finnish. I saw an interview with someone from Pole (I believe Leo Kokkonen) who said that pole meant “pedal!” Not just pedal, but pedal with an exclamation point…
Must get a lot of looks on that frame.
Most heard statements: #1 - “What is that?!?!?!?!?” # 2 - “Is that a Pole?!?!?!?!?” # 3 - “I’ve never seen that in person before!!!!” 😉
what kind of taxes and or duty did you have to pay to import that?
I too would also like to know the answer to this question!
It’s all about luck I think. I got mine without any. Just battery that came by FedEx got taxes that I needed to pay. About 35$
Did you really just refer to a bicycle as an "analog bike???"
I also called myself a “cheater” just for you…
Plus, as a guitarist, I hate the term “acoustic” to describe a bicycle. And, the definition of “acoustic” doesn’t really apply, as it has to do with sound waves, not electronics. So, “analog” is the only really appropriate word to differentiate between cheaters and wussies.
And….. didn’t your Mamma teach you, that “If you don’t have anything nice to say, STFU?”
@@ADubMTB your mama needs to teach you to HTFU! ;)
Some are slow catching up...
