- When the Silverado ZR2 ( and it's counterpart the GMC Sierra AT4X ) were released, the main complaint was that they were not true competitors to the Ford Raptor or Ram TRX. It was missing the flared bodywork, longer travel suspension, and available supercharged V8 that the other trucks have.
PaxPower has fixed those issues with its wider fenders and bedsides, along with prerunner suspension. We can reuse the Multimatic shocks, but also offer upgraded units from King Racing, Fox, or Icon.

Those ZR2s you have there are HOT!!! Of course if they made them from the factory they would be well over 100k at the dealerships.
GM should have done this to be a direct competitor to the Raptor and TRX. They could have easily charged another 10-15k

Silverado zr2, the most recent failure to come out of the gm line. They had the supercharged trx and raptor to compete with yet they stuck a normal v8 in it despite having not one but two car lines with amazing supercharged v8’s to play with

Do you think the stock steering arms will hold up to bigger tires and wider suspension? Did you modify the rear springs? And finally it would have made a great video if you launched one off the loading ramp in the background!
The rear comes with Dever leaf springs shackles and king 3.0’s

I really have to ask. How's the gas mileage after adding the Supercharger? I imagine its something close to 9MPG and with the Zr2 having a small gas tank (21.4 Gal) that would put the range at about 192mi. You wouldn't even be able to make it from Dallas to Austin (2h30min - 196mi) without having to pump gas along the way. Do you offer a way to extend gas tank capacity?

TFL did a video a couple of years ago where they raced a supercharged Jackal against a TRX.
Google magnuson supercharger for this truck . About 11,000 dollars I believe . These newer trucks with global B tuning them Is more expensive

So you took an offroad trail truck and made it into a baha runner. Form>function with these now since it was already tight taking a full size off road but making it wider will only help with those issues.
They look nice but only 12in of travel in the front an 11 inches in the rear; seems kinda small.
For comparison the gen 1 raptor (2010-14) had 11.2in front and 12.1 inches of travel in the rear
BIG question…if you buy a brand new ZR2 and have your mods done, doesn’t it void the factory warranty?
Entire warranty, no. They can’t flat out void your warranty. But any claim for a part that’s been modified will likely be denied.
What’s crazy,,in 2021 you could get a brand new 6.2 liter Silverado Trail Boss for 49,400,,,,now their 65 to 70k WHY???? I payed 41,200 for my brand new 2023 Colorado Trail Boss!

Are you able to re-gear these trucks? Stock 3.23s and big, heavy tires aren't a great combination.
No and probably won't ever be able to due to welded ring gears. We're constantly amazed how well these trucks do with 3.23 gears and 37" tires! We have over 60k miles on our shop Jackal and it handles them awesome. Thankfully 10-speed transmissions have some really low internal gears to get the setup moving and the torque of 6.2 takes care of the rest.
Why does the stance on the blue look more aggressive than the red? 37 inch tires vs 35?
And is ADD ever going to make a bumper for the ZR2?
Yes the blue is on 37s. And I wouldn’t expect a bumper anytime soon from anyone. It would be a complex bumper for a very small market.

GM’s goal wasn’t to compete with the TRX. Obviously the powertrain differs. In this US recession upcoming, I doubt consumers would pony up and pay for a ZR2 with more power when they can’t sell them at 80k with the regular 6.2

They’re all nice….I can afford one but I refuse to buy anything right now. These prices are stupid on everything now. If you are terrible with money or you’re forced to buy a car right now you’d be insane or mental to buy a car right now….
I had the 2015 Calloway Silverado….sensors kept going out on it. I bought it right off the showroom floor in Pittsburgh…
Would look better with aftermarket bumpers and a bed chase rack. And of course more leds.. other than that it's a nice truck 🙌🏽

Magnuson superchargers sells a supercharger kit for this motor . It’s on their web site I believe alittle over 11,000 dollars . I’m sure other company’s make blowers as well for this truck
They are sick, but 650HP isn’t enough. It needs to be 705 or above guys.
A fully built Jackal weighs about 1800 pounds less than a TRX. That's a lot more important than 50 horsepower.
That’s just the base HP on a magnuson 2650 supercharger 5/6 psi of boost . Ofcourse you can turn it up way past 650 HP with supporting mods with just a pully swap. Don’t want to get too crazy with it these motors do not have fully forged rotating assembly they have higher compression etc ..
Better have beefed up and changed the trans.... especially if u got sc on it 3rd gear gonna get shredded to fuck 😂 all new transmission issues reside in all 16+ GM's and Ford's. Mopar owners just straight up don't know any better 😆
For an extra 20k just get a trx. NOT worth it.

ZR2 is nothing compared to the Raptor or TRX...
Then gen 3 raptor is 🗑️. I purchased a 2023 brand new , a/c went out at 1,200 miles, parking brake would randomly engage. Contacted ford and they been having a ton of these problems. They haven’t placed a recall but have bulletins in place once they figure out the problem. Got rid of the 2023 raptor and got a 2023 zr2. Caking these guys Monday to get set up for a jackal kit.
