Massa, the Asantehene has indicated the close friendship and cooperation between us and the modern day United Kingdom. We are not going to mar that relationship with loose talk empty threats and short sighted greed. Not only did they return our ancestral heirloom but joined us to celebrate the return, a gesture which they haven’t offered to any other people. Let us be take our cue from our King and also the President of the republic.

Returning some of the loot and pretending to celebrate with us does not rectify the pain or the loss of our freedom. The least they can do is to compensate as they compasated slave owners/traders for loss of business and property (black slaves).
They have to pay what they owe...it's the least they can do in the name of reparation.

@@nellytackie2874 Mr. Tackie will it be logical to hold the Ga Mantse and Fantes responsible because their forefathers collaborated with the Whites who attacked and looted Asanteman? What is done is done. The English are now our friends as much as the Ga and Fantesɛm. Time to move on and build bridges instead of trying to refight dead wars.
