The genius of Asantes to evade the enemy. Thanks for this visual account of the history of the Golden Stool. The Drums of Coomassie book talks about it. My minor comment would be my wish that you allowed more time for us to see the trenches, the 3 buildg and the tabernacle in ehic the Golden Stool was housed. Just a mere glimpse of it was just tantalizing to wet the appetite to see the whole buildings around. Not just a glimpse of only one side. Can you walk around them. thanks.

Thanks for expressing you concerns and opinion about the issue at hand. That's the problem with the current Asante youth. When you hear something you don't " understand, pause, and examine it before you pass judgment. The problem is the new Ghana 🇬🇭 constitution the have given all the powers to the minerals commission of Ghana 🇬🇭 they have the right to issue licensed to anyone who wants to mine in Ghana 🇬🇭. The government gives 2% royalties the chief in the area through the promise s we will construct roads for the locality. The government and the company that mine the mineral don't do the roads. So think about it this way if the chief of obuasi did not get any thing the mining in his area " what do want the chief to do please, answer me.!!!
Secondly, they give Asanteman only 15% of all the royalties from the government through mineral commission that is what Asanteman used to run the affair of the kingdom. It is very bad of the government because Asanteman youth don't know all these problems they blame the chief and Manhyia.
The big elephant 🐘 in the room we all Ashantis have talk 👄 about is the mineral commission not send any Chinese to come to our area to mine gold that will solve 50% of the problem. Then push parliament to repeal the laws on mineral commission then involved the local chief and Manhyia and the government in signing new royalties agreements to benefit the communities than promising the we construct roads for them the never for people in most cases.
