Samsung should have launched an Ultra version alongside the regular with the S24 Ultra cameras and built-in s pen.
Not sure why folks here are complaining about the trade-in. With my trade-in of the Fold4, the phone came to about $690. Can't get any top smartphone for that right now. So I'm in.

As a S24U owner, the ZF6 is a hard pass for me, seeing as it's nowhere near worth the extra $900 that I'd have to fork over after trade-in. If it at least had a slot for the S-Pen and I could use the S-Pen on the outer screen, it may be slightly worth considering. Still, the S24U has better camera capability, so to pay all that extra money (as if buying another S24U) and end up with a camera downgrade is not appealing to me. Wah, wahhhhhh.
No S series Ultra owner should be looking at the Fold anyway, until they come out with a Fold Ultra. Why would you even think to switch from a more powerful device?

That's very true. The only thing is that at the time of pre orders for fold 6 I tested getting the s24, but getting the new Fold was like $700 cheaper because of the pre-order discounts and trade ins. So coming from the fold 3 was really worth it for me personality 😊
@@clevern3rd102for many reasons! where do I start? but also that depends on what you want to use it for and what kind of user you are. I have always been the person to get the best version which nowadays is the ultra but ever since the first time I got a fold I haven't been able to switch back because of personal reasons and way that I like using the phone😊

Does Galaxy Z Fold And Flip 6 have Seamless updates?
In Germany the pre-order bonus is one of the worst I've seen yet for a new shiny flagship devices. You don't get a free storage upgrade from 256 to 512, meaning you need to dish out 2119€ for that one. The trade in value for some reason is always worse than in the US. You get 150€ for trading in any phone. If you trade in a S23U 512GB which I have, it has a trade in value of 440€, bringing it up to a total of 590€. You get one year of Samsung Care+ regardless whether you choose a career or not though. But I'd happily skip on that if it means I could get a free storage upgrade and a trade in value of 800€ for the S23U.
When it comes to screen aspect ratio there are many opinions and mix reactions my opinion is a bit wider display gives imusive and enriching experience .

My S24 Ultra is my last Samsung. I'm looking at folds right now but no Samsung's... No inovation, tiny incremental updates... No more!
The screens (quality) are a disappointment compared to the Oneplus Open.
I want to swap out my zf4 for the zf6, but there's not enough extra incentives for me. Usually, the best deal on a new fold within in the first 6 months, is when it first launches. But i feel like there's gonna be a better deal show up by black friday, with better pricing and higher samsung credit or bundles. There's just nothing special that they are offering during this launch. A $1000 credit for zf4 can easily be offered again(there was one year, VERY shortly after launch, where the trade in credit actually increased to $1100), and the $100 reserve credit can be easily increased for another deal, and still include a "free" storage uograde. When i bought my fold4 and flip 4, i got watch 5, watch 5 pro, and 2 pairs of buds2 pro, for hardly any extra money. I was expecting for them to at least add the bud3 pro at no cost or close to it, or the Galaxy Ring(tho, didn't expect the Ring to be $400 to start with, to be fair). Anyways, I'm hoping sales are soft and shortly after launch, a better deal will happen. Plus, I'll get to see if there are any immediate issues with the phone while i wait. :)

I Have a Z fold 5 Won't upgrade to the 6 is like change from a white shirt to another white shirt. Even if I had the 4 wouldn't have change is very disappointing that others have 2 years doing better phones

This version only has more software and sharper corners. Not worth spending 2k on, nor suckered into a degrading installment scam.
