      Looking online for boats, I can tell a lot of people don't think to take care of any toys they own. I would love to see a chart that shows the toal depreciation amount in america that comes from pure negligence of toys (boats, atv's, side by sides, etc.) It annoys me when I see people spend 15k on a jetski just to leave it outside and not maintain it. In some cases, they spend all this money on a brand new toy, use it a couple times, then let it deteriorate outside for a couple years. Then they get on craigslist and want to sell it for near retail price 😐

    You should do a video of your own personal boat. I bet it is badass! Or, maybe, a vid of you totally re-doing a boat from the ground up, like the Chip Foose show, "Overhaulin" for cars but for boats or those shows where they remodel some deserving person house without their knowledge and then surprises them with the results. I bet you could get your own cable TV series doing this. At any rate, love your videos. LOL, even the boring ones at the auctions (just kidding, I liked those too).

      You don't have to have a completely closed transom to use a bracket. Many boats have brackets installed that had motors mounted "conventionally". Brackets being added do increase speed, allow the boat to plane quicker and get better fuel economy in the majority of cases. They also add flotation which can help with heavier outboards like the newer 4 strokes.

      @fauxque5057 Před 2 lety

      I know this is an old post, but all to often I see questions like yours on videos like this. The answer is easy. Just looking isn't going to get you what you want. You have to be active, not reactive, when trying to do this. Sitting there looking at ads on faceplant, and craigslist isn't going to cut it. It's rare that you are first to a deal. By the time you see it and reach out so have others before you. You get first, you get lucky. The farther from first the less of a deal you'll find.
      To be successful you have to be running the ad, not reading the ad. "Cash paid for boats" will get you calls. Friends, family, and coworkers all need to know that you are looking for boats. Get the deals coming to you, instead of chasing after them, and you will be most successful
