Short Bio: Outside of my love for donuts and ice cream, I am privileged to serve as the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Newington, CT. My wife and best friend (Dana) and I have been blessed with three adult children and five grandchildren, and we have enjoyed thirty-four years of marriage and ministry together. I have followed Jesus for nearly 50 years and my passion is to love God, love my family and church family, develop spiritual leaders, and point people to Jesus Christ-through leading, teaching, and writing. You can connect with me at the links above. As far as education, my Master’s work with Veritas Baptist College was in theology, and my Doctorate with Liberty University is in expositional teaching and preaching.

Awesome sermon, pastor Cary, sometimes even as Christians we need to be reminded of the goodness, grace, and mercy of our God. Thank you for preaching the word and reminding us of the hope we have in Jesus Christ. God bless.
I'm a woman. Right now I'm married 26 years I have 2 sons. My dad recently died. I do have a brother. I have no men of God in my life. Sad but true. My husband claims he has Jesus but he has no evidence no fruit of the spirit. Actually his heart is hard as stone! Many men in this world need prayers said for them. My whole life I have wanted to be loved I'm adopted. My adoptive dad did not love me, my husband does not show me love. I want to be with Jesus so badly I want to be loved!!! I want to be accepted!! My whole life I have been praying and waiting to be with Jesus.
I’ve been craving someone to at least just be nice toward me. What a sad state this old earth is in. It’s no surprise to us Christians but it sure hurts. 🙁
I can very much relate. I won’t go into details but you’re not alone. Feeling also sadness in lack of time with my busy adult children and grandchildren, and for me I sometimes get into self pity and brokenness. The Lord reminds me over and over that my first love and focus must stay on my relationship with the Lord and his love and his word, and keeping my eyes on him and heavenly things and the rapture and staying in prayer for my family and friends and unbelievers. Only when I do this do I find joy and great comfort and am prevented from totally despairing of my circumstances. So thankful for messages by godly and biblically sound teachers such as pastor Cary, John MacArthur, and my own wonderful pastor.
Very similar situation here. But God . . .
Jesus fills these gaps and will forever!
@@pastorcaryschmidt Yes he does! The forever part makes my eyes mist up. Beautiful thought.
Please Lord, please let it be soon.

The Holy Spirit gives me a beautiful vision as you are reading with an elegance the Spirit applies. I am picking blueberries as I listen, hoping they will have that sweetness. While doing a Hallelujah Happy Dance. Blessings of His joy and endurance 🌸🎺🦋

I want to compliment you knowing full well that you’ll deflect this compliment back at God! And rightly so. That’s one of the things I appreciate most about listening to you. I have already shared this message and will do so in the future. Well done Pastor. Bruce.

Jesus is awesome, I'm not... but I appreciate your kindness!
I recently saw an interview of a nun that has dedicated the last 30 years of her life to being that. And she was asked about her belief with regards to the afterlife. She answered “I honestly don’t know”. Cue the stick figure guy spitting out his cereal meme. How are you going to spend 30 years of your life on organized religion to NOT know where you will spend eternity???
Hi pastor Carey! I have been enjoying watching some of the videos (I started watching at the last 4 of the series) about our glorious future in eternity to come. We have an amazing future! At least, those of us who are born again, and have been washed by the blood of Jesus CHRIST. I am so excited, and feel like I can hardly wait for this time on earth, before the rapture to be over! I have a question that I would like you to answer for me. During the 1000 year reign of CHRIST the Bible talks about the longevity of life for those who CAN die. Those who transitioned into that time of things. I am assuming that both believers in CHRIST, as well as non-believers, will be able to die during that time. It is obvious to me that the non-believer who dies during that period will still go to hell when they die. But where will the BELIEVER go when they die during that period? It is my understanding that, pretty much, Heaven will have been emptied out because of all of the Bride of CHRIST will have followed HIM back to this earth and will be with HIM here as HE reigns. And it seems logical to me that if they died but didn’t go somewhere afterward, then what’s the purpose of dying at all for them. They would be still somewhere upon the earth! So can you inform me about this? And I’m only talking about the mortal people who die during the time of the 1000 year reign of CHRIST on this earth. No one else. Where do believers go? Thank you Pastor Carey for your answer. Have a great day! And May GOD bless you richly! I know your messages, and manor of delivering them sure blesses me!😊
Scripture doesn’t say really… either they are brought immediately into the millennial kingdom and resurrected, or they wait until the end of that. Not sure.
♥️🤍💙🙏
Have a silly question the psalms are separated into 5 books - is this just arbitrary or is there a reason for the 5 books. I have heard they match the first five of th old Testament, can see this is correct. ???
It’s not clear why there are five books but I wouldn’t be surprised is there was some connection to the first five books of scripture.
