Today we will conduct a walk-through of every believer’s ultimate destination-the capital city of the eternal state, called New Jerusalem. Unlike New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, or New Mexico, this future place will have the most unique environment ever. I will touch on seven highlights of this future cityscape that make heaven the world’s most interesting destination.
This teaching is from the series The End Is Near? with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Church.

He’s off a little, but he probably doesn’t know why they translated the way that they did. The prepared new Jerusalem is where we are going during the time of Jacob’s trouble, at the second coming the earth is made perfect. At the end of the 1,000 year reign the wicked are judged then new Jerusalem comes to earth.

I seriously love this sermon. This makes me homesick for heaven
I want to thank Brother Skip for being a great encouragement to me. I am a pastor who loves to teach the Bible, make it easy to understand, and to help others desire to read it, study it, and understand it even more. I want people to LOVE their bible and not see it as something impossible to understand. It seems like more and more churches have fallen to the temptation to allegorize the Scriptures in an effort to defend their "pet" doctrines. I have felt more and more alone in trying to hold to a literal interpretation of text believing that God had it written for man to understand, not only for the "elite" to figure out and tell everyone else what God "meant to say". Skip has been such an encouragement to me and I mean true "encouragement". I really try to encourage our congregation on Sundays through the Word. I find my encouragement here. Thank you. Keep 'em coming!

Yes skip, please tell us of little John’s delusions while inhaling volcanic gasses on the aisle of Patmos. It must be the word of god… Because nobody ever got high and then had visions & hallucinations like the ones described in the “Holy” Bible.

When you shine pure light (ie from a laser) onto Jasper it is clear and shines like a rainbow. Interestingly when you shine the same light on a diamond it becomes dark like the coal it came from.
I should imagine the light emanating from The Almighty is pure as pure can be.

If heaven comes down why do we not acknowledge we're on earth??
I have questions. I understand these might not be knowable but I'll ask anyway. What will we be doing in Heaven? Is there going to be work for us? Will there be men and women, and if there are, will we be attracted to each other? I do think we will be praising God and worshiping him. One Calvary Pastor, I think it was Eric Cartier, talked of work but I think he was speaking of the Millennial Kingdom.

Thanks for this explanation the wmscog teaches people the new jerusalem is the heavenly mother who lives in South Korea with the help of Galatians 4: 26, thanks for exposing the false teaching of the wmscog and opening peoples eyes .

[3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
The same principle Christ used by question and answer. The same is asked today. If Jesus says when He comes again ( second coming; 1 Thes 4:16,17) the saints will go with him to heaven for a 1000 years Rev 204,5; how it is the saints die and go to heaven and Jesus has not returned? NB Rev 20:4,5, compared with St John 14:1-3. The saints are resurrected at Christ second coming where go to heaven for a 1000 years, judgement given to them to examine the records in heaven. Blessed are those that are in 1st resurrection the text says. Vs 5 the rest of dead( wicked) live not again till after the 1000 years when New Jerusalem of Jew and Gentile believers comes down from heaven Rev 21:1-3
Where is heaven? Is where God lives. Where do God live? . In born again believers in Christ. Out bodies are His temple house dwelling. Heaven is not a location.
We're already in heaven waiting for transformation of our bodies from mortality to immortality to be like Jesus Christ.
In 1405, Pope Innocent demanded that John Huss stop his “heretical” stand against the Catholic doctrine that only a priest could read the Word of God. Huss preached that man should not need a priest to digest the Bible for him, but he should have the right to read and understand it for himself. Huss was also ordered to stop his protest of the selling of indulgences, and recant of his words against the pope. The man of God stood his ground, and was sentenced to the same fate as tens of millions who were murdered simply because they protested the hierarchy of power that is called the Roman Catholic Church.
Vast majority of Christians are in darkness to the true antichrist that practiced and prospered Dan 8:10-12( sacrifice not in original text) having host of priest daily forgiving sins, selling indulgences and killing anyone who protested against the false teachings Rev 14:8, 17:1,2, 19:2, of Catholic Church. Today Kenneth Copeland and Tony Palmer, Churches in America 2017 the Protestant Reformation is over! Rev 12:6-16; today Rev 12:17, God has a Remnant Church to continue the Protest against the pockets of false doctrines still held by Churches which they inherited even thou been separated physically but not doctrinally from the antichrist the Papacy on 7 hills Rev 17:9, Vatican City. Immortality of the soul, Sunday sacredness and secret rapture are some of false doctrines on sandy foundation of the antichrist the Papacy. Rev 17:5 Mother and Daughters.
I'm sorry but Pastor Skip does not know the book of Revelation, he is a seasoned brother in Christ and yet cannot enter into the divine revelation in this crucial part of the Bible. The last two chapters concerning the New Jerusalem is not heaven-it descends out of heaven! The New Jerusalem is the consummation of the whole Bible!

However, According to the Chaldeans holy bible, the “rapture” must occur BEFORE the “great tribulation” takes place. So other than the “left behind” series, are you aware of the rapture having already taken place???
Oh wait, this theology only applies to the pre-tribulation believers, but not the post-tribulation goof-balls.
