  • Deep Cut Gardens is a beautiful curated garden in Middletown, New Jersey. It features greenhouses, waterfalls, and even a koi pond. However, it has a dark secret, it was built by mobster Vito Genovese. Using volcanic rock from Italy, he created a miniature version of Mt. Vesuvius. Join me as I take you on a tour!

An awesome garden in the Garden State. Really love the foo dog statues and saucer magnolias. And Mt. Vesuvius...WOW!

I haven't been there in long time when my nephew was not even 4 years old. And now he's enlisted in the Navy. That shows how long it's been since I have visited that place. I am also very familiar about the Genovese Family story.

I don't know how I missed this video. Just discovered it today after doing a search for Deep Cut. I was there last week for the first time and wanted more info on it. What a beautiful place. Very interesting past for sure. I didn't see the little volcano or the coy pond though. There's a lot of ground to see there. Big property. I'll probably go back again when things are in bloom.

Very nice tour! I’ve been here many many times since I was a little girl. I noticed a few new details from watching this video!
As far as what looks like a foundation in the very back near that curved stone wall....I remember hearing that was a huge in ground pool back there. So what you’re seeing is the edge of the pool...and the curved wall was where they had made like a beach with sand and chairs etc. it makes sense there would be a pool somewhere back there but later that they had to fill it in. Oh well. So pretty there. When the roses are in bloom it’s amazing. 💜

So beautiful. Kind of upsetting that members of organized crime had it so good! I'm glad it's changed hands now, though. Great video! 👍🏼

Duke Farms is coming soon! I actually had plans to film there but I had to scrap them because it was too cold and windy. But its a place I really want to see.
