@@wsl posting on fb cuz I grew up by T-Street Pier and I was boogie boarding by 3/13 surfing by 11-12.
Then we moved to Tahoe and then I went to Scottsdale, Az.
Landlocked sucks.
This is my alternative life I dream about. He makes me proud.

Great surfer, great style, hopefully when competition resumes Kolohe can do full rotation air reverses on his frontside, that seems to be the only thing keeping him from beating the likes of Italo, Felipe and John

His dad had more power. Dino fucking tears the shit out of the wave. Who is that I said the first time I saw him do a roundhouse cutty at the pier. him and a guy named Steve Clay were tight and surfed together all the time. Before the Archie fame.

You're tripping. Dino mighta had a good frontside carve but rewatch tape. Sat outside at Uppers on a borrowed 7'0 and made all my waves. Dino is a legend but Kolohe smoked his competition in every final but lost. It's just weird.

Claiming is only annoying if it is phony...done to try to improve a score. A hardworking athlete celebrating after a big play is one of the joys of sports.

Is he a good surfer? Of course he is... but he has to improve a lot if he wants to become a world champion. Guys like JJF, Medina, Italo, Filipe, Jordy and Julian are a lot better than him.
