You should put Anti-seize so the spacer doesn’t weld it’s self on with the heat
Been running 50mm spacers for around 6 months now on my Z, they came off with little to no force a few days ago.
Sky2065 sometimes there a pain to take off on my si shit was hard to remove
Never gets hot enough to be doing that. It might get slightly stuck because of surface rust when both contact surfaces aren't properly cleaned

Hey Cameron, I wanna mention 2 things! I also own a Focus ST, and I want to let you know that the lugs that come with the car are garbage and have a tendency to swell. So pick up some good aftermarket lugs so you dont have to deal with any issues. Especially if you are going to be removing the wheels periodically. Second, I wanna mention is that the spacers from CJ Pony Parts are good, but the studs arent. So make sure you go back and check that they are tight after driving a little bit. They also have a repetition to break. Love the content, keep on putting out bro!

What aftermarket lugs should i get then?
i just got my ST as a daily and can't pour money into it. I was torn between lowering springs and dealing with damaging my stock shocks, or saving for a while for a nice set of coilovers, both if which would be expensive to have done at a shop (don't trust myself) and get alignment done. this is a perfect in between! easy to do myself and cheaper than both, and now I can save for those ST-Xs while riding with a bit more style. thanks for the video, it really helped out decision making!

Just did this install myself. It really looks great and was pretty easy. Only thing is the ride feels bit stiffer but i’m not sure if that’s my mind playing games.

I was saving up like crazy for new wheels and tires, but man, everything is getting so expensive! They're up several hundred dollars more than they were just a few months ago on Fitment Industries! So spacers it is until I either save more or they come down a little bit.
Any downside to using wheel spacers? additional wear, handling, etc?

Just some fyi, you cant fit spacers on the premium st3 wheels because the bolts wont clear the back of the wheel, you have to cut down the stock lugs on the car
Or you can buy spacers made by ST Suspensions. They made shaft nuts that solve the problem. I found them yesterday and I think I'm about to try them.
Never heard of them, i just know regular spacers that are 20> wont clear, i had 25 mills all around from cjpp and my steering would shake at high speeds since it doesn’t completely clear
@@andresalonzo2462 Holy fuck i have an st3 and i was about to purchase these spacers but decided to go back to the video and read comments first, i scrolled so far before i found this one and am so happy i did. So the 25mm wont fit but the 20mm will be fine?

I have a 2018 ST with the brembo brakes and the oem RS wheels. Would I be able to fit spacers on?
So I’ve been looking to get spacers but i have a question and I’ve done lots of research but with no results. I have aftermarket wheels 18x8.5 offset 40 with h&r lowering springs. The question here is if I install spacers would it rub at all?

Added stress on the wheel bearings from the spacers will diminish their life.

Your also messing with the suspension geometry causing more wear over all and the chassis was not designed like this which is why id argue ford knew what they were doing when designing the car from factory the st rides and handles really well from factory which is why personally i will not touch any of those components only breaks and power

Went wayyy too big they stick out too much
