      Thanks. It's not an automatic with all systems / kits, but if you add a note on your order we will toss a few in free.

    I have problem with the motion sensor after I replace the battery. It keep saying trouble with the sensor. Do you have to do any thing after you replace the battery to reset it?

    Can this be connected to a wired system? I have Ademco vista panel.

    Can I add two Honeywell Lynx Touch L7000 to my system at home to get two key pads in different areas of the house?

    • @AlarmSystemStore
      @AlarmSystemStore  Před 6 lety

      No. The lynx is the main brain and you can only have one. You can add the 5828V wireless keypads though for extra keypads

    Thank you for the informative video! I purchased a house from a trust, as the owner went into a nursing home, and I was not able to get the master code for programming. I was able to get a user code added, but I can’t press program to set the time, or access anything past the first screen. Any advice on how to reset to default, and will I have to reprogram all of my window and door sensors if I reset? Thanks in advance for your help!

    • @AlarmSystemStore
      @AlarmSystemStore  Před rokem +1

      Defaulting the panel will require all a total reprogram, including all sensors. We don't have a vid for defaulting it, but there are other videos that detail that process.

      @@AlarmSystemStore thanks for the response. I found out that I locked myself out by pressing NO the last time I was in it on “Allow installer to re-enter programming.” I needed to reboot the system and press CLEAR,0,0. I re-entered my code and it allowed me back into the system at that point.

    I have a GE simon XT system
    Should I go XTi-5 or L7000

    • @AlarmSystemStore
      @AlarmSystemStore  Před 6 lety

      XTi-5 would be the best choice as you can use your GE Simon XT sensors

    Can you use GE XT sensors for this system

    • @AlarmSystemStore
      @AlarmSystemStore  Před 6 lety

      No you cannot. Each manufacturer has their own wireless frequency.

    I have an older adt alarm,I believe it’s called Lynx and it’s about 19 years ago, and I want to replace it but use all my wireless sensors . How would I find out if there compatible with this alarm?
    I also want to use my Apple 4 watch or Apple X phone to arm and disarm my alarm instead of using the keypad I use now . Is this possible?
    I do not have entry delay because I use a keyfob to disable and enable my alarm at all times .the range is terrible though .
    I’m concerned on how reliable the alarm will be with my watch when I’m outside . I’m assuming it’s using the watches wifi to connect ,

    • @AlarmSystemStore
      @AlarmSystemStore  Před 5 lety

      The Lynx systems, even the older one like you have, all use the 5800 series of wireless transmitters. So you can use the ones you have with the newer Lynx. You can add a cellular or WIFI internet communicator to the Lynx systems and use Honeywell's Total Connect which will give you a phone app to control the system with.

      its unfortunate theres additional monthly fees to use their app . Im wondering how well the apple watch will work as a key fob ,seeing as Im thinking it will have to find its wifi connection first before it will even communicate .
      thank you for the responce

    I just bought a house that already had this system installed, how do I reset the code because the previous seller didn't give me the code?
