Cool video about a very unique city. That cafe street is confusing a lot of people. It used to be open to the public 2-3 years ago and even then, VN Railways hated the public being there because it's unsafe. Then 2-3 years ago, a tourist got hurt so Hanoi banned public from accessing those train streets. The local wards and neighborhood talked to Hanoi administrator and the compromise is that the cafe owners must take personal responsibility for their customers/guests and those cafe owners must "invite" their guests to their establishment, provide strict instruction and promise compliance by the customers to stand behind certain lines. That's why there are these shop owners that would go to the main street and "invite" interested parties to particular cafes and they are nice until couple of minutes the train come, then they really let you know to stand back or else. I personally love Hanoi as it's one of the very few SE Asian cities that don't try to look and become Western. I love their architecture, the tree lined boulevards and small streets, the lakes.

@@LetsMeetAbroad You are so rich to buy a camera like that just to vlog, after all you have a clear goal to invest like that. Hanoi is in winter, the scene is gray and not beautiful, and there is more air pollution. But the food in Hanoi in winter is also special and delicious. The pace of life in Hanoi is quite slow compared to Ho Chi Minh City, suitable for tourists to experience the culture here. Hope you have a good experience and come back to us again. I also hope you can do more about your hometown and introduce it to us. I long to know what the world is like out there.

I think you got sth mixed up. Ha Noi is not famous for suits, the one which is famous for tailored suits is Hoi An, which is 700km away.
You might be right!! However, we did see many of these shops in Hanoi as well. Is Hanoi not a good place to do it?
@@LetsMeetAbroad Well you can surely get some decent suits with decent price made in Ha Noi. But generally speaking it's not a well known place for that. Even in Hoi An where it's famous, the result can be hit and miss.
