I would say it's alot more likely that they won't issue a ticket if you're respectful and don't argue a whole lot when you could well have been in the wrong. Manners tends to go a long way I find

Both Dave and Damon are polite and respectful about the way they go about telling the officers that they may be misinformed about they laws that they say they are breaking. Their knowledge of driving laws definitely help but it’s how they go about saying it that matters.
Damons been featured in Police interaction audit videos and always gets high marks. He knows how to deal with Police and isnt intimidated by the badge. It helps he has "ticket dismissers" to help with the legal stuff in the US, this is backed up by knowing his rights and not giving more info than he needs to. Like he said, Its better to argue in a court of law than on a roadside where its just an officers word against yours. Have a great 2021 everyone, drive safe.
@@GoblinUrNuts I mean that instead of the initial ticked that it seems like the cop is going to give them, it is eventually turned into a verbal or written warning.
I agree that their knowledge of driving laws do play an immense roll in this; however, they could just as easily say, “F**k off, I was not going that fast that’s bullsh*t!!!” Which I believe would definitely have a different outcome.
All the same, they deal with their encounters very well.
I got out of a reckless driving ticket by being nice, respectful and honest about my speed. There was no getting out of it, he totally saw me going fast. He bumped it down to a lower speed because I was honest with him.

For sure clutch like no tomorrow but the cop was probably convinced looking from a weird angle at the back, it's very possible that you'd get the optical illusion that he's at the solid line already.

@@rixyz7013 There are a lot of dash cams that use GPS to track your mph and location to show whether you were speeding or not. They could really benefit from this if they know they're in the right and want to fight a ticket.
