I like keeping the paint OEM. For wraps I definitely think the candy red and the deep blue are the winners in my book.
BLUE! Its called Royal Sapphire Blue. Best OEM color

Don't know if there was anything more boring than painting a car gray. Probably "painting it gray *because* it's oem and improves resale value". Yeah, that's it.

Wraps suck a wet candy with gold flakes and a thick clear coat is 10x’s better to look at

Props to Oscar on the CA Red- the Supra has many of the lines that red were so great for in the XKE. But if you want to show the lines, really emphasize the compound curves and sculpture of it, go with the gun metal color in your second view. And I second the OEM silver with a wrap on it! Especially for a city daily driver. Btw, the LR quarter repair was mint and THE right choice. FR
You found the fan output connector from the relay. You need the fan control temp switch in the bottom of the radiator to control relays and fans. Its on the same bundle at he output connector. 2 pin grey connector. You will also need to bridge the ac pressure switch, if the ac isnt charged/fitted yet. Remember these relays are only for the small helper fans. Iirc rated at 5 amps running, but can be used to trigger a bigger relay for aftermarket fans. Factory fans turn on at 100C and off at 91C
As a painter, I'd recommend at least 3 months before wrapping. If you had a baking booth, wet sanded and buffed the entire car, and left if out in a strong sun you might could cut it in half.

I wish you had some samples of all of your paint jobs on your channel. It always makes me sad when we are on a video hosting platform, yet people don't have any samples of the work they brag about. :(
@@eriklarson9137 I didn't brag about any work. I just started what I went to school and was trained in. This channel is little used and for my cars for sale when I have any. I have another channel I am starting for projects. It will be awhile before I get to any painting though unless an unexpected small interesting job comes in.

Y’all should consider an orange metallic paint with red flake with the exposed carbon hood it would still be different from all the others and it looks great on the Supra!

Love the candy red...Mazda has an incredible multi-stage red that looks a bit candy like. Can't believe you didn't have a metallic orange, maybe a darker than F&F orange Supra.

Yeah, Soul Red Crystal. AKA the best red on the market, especially in the sun, even better than the usual Ferrari’s Rosso Corsa or Rosso Scuderia.

The Alpine Silver looks so good. Classic, not trying too hard, and works well with exposed carbon
The candy red is awesome, but if your not doing a total strip down and repaint, I'd say the factory colour 100%, it'll all match plus it'll still be the same colour it rolled off the factory floor in which will help resale value.
Also if you are fixed on them wheels, it's the best colour combo.
What about yellow or orange?

My dutch heart screams in sunset orange with the carbon exposed hood. I think it would look great on the Supra.

Two cents from someone who worked in a paint and body shop for a while. You definitely want to check with the paint manufacturer how long the paint/clear needs to off gas and fully cure - we used house of color at my shop, and it was always recommend 4 - 6 weeks prior to any vinyl/wrap/decal to be applied, otherwise the paint/clear might come off with the wrap. I've seen it happen, and man oh man does it suck when it happens. Awesome build, and can't wait to see how the mustang turns out! I did a chassis swap too using 66 mustang and 2018 chassis, and now i'm jealous of your mid engine! SO FREAKING RAD!
It’s so nice to see a tasteful sympathetic restoration to a car like this. Don’t get me wrong I love all the crazy builds but this is refreshing. I love stock silver! Possibly a candy red wrap.
Original paint looks awesome!
I also think fresh silver paint will look good on the supra. The wheels and carbon bits will compliment the color even more
Candy Apple Red - it's a strong enough color to match the body kit. Bare Carbon Fiber hood, or paint the hood except for the louvers.
Mabye flaky cherry color?

Either a really dark grey or a nice metallic gunmetal black!!! That would bring out the cars "feel" much more.
Supra in magnetic grey would look pretty sweet. It's a dark grey close to what you show, but a little more metallic.
Just keep it Alpine Silver. Best resale value, best look too... If you have to wrap it, go Candy Apple Red.
I like the red, but it does have more resale value in original color. I think the wrap idea is the way to go. Particularly with the lack of deadlines on this build. And besides, if they wrap it, we see both!

The factory alpine silver looks so nice with the modifications done to the car already so it gets my vote although all the other colors are nice choices also!

Candy apple red (or heck Soul Crystal Red) would look amazing on that Supra! 2nd choice would be the Royal Sapphire Pearl Blue (blue raspberry is a good wrap amalgam)

The candy apple red would be my choice for an extreme change. But the Alpine Silver Metallic looks good too.
I would keep it subtle and keep the factory alpine silver but still give it a full dip and clean it out real good. You have a gem on your hands so treat it like one at least.

My favorite from your selection would be the candy apple red, however, next to the candy apple car is a car with a color that caught my eye even more. It looks kind of blackish-goldish-something-something. I really love that one!

The R-35 to R-34 swap was probably my favorite so far... As far as a before and after. But the Burnticán is also pretty sick!

Supras came in a dark green called imperial jade mica. One of the rarest stock colors. It’s by far my favorite

Definitely consider a pearl version of British Racing Green. I think it would look really nice. Leave the vents on the hood carbon fibre.

I really like the candy apple paint. I'm not big into red cars but I feel like that color shows how awesome of a car it is off well. All the other colors look great to a car guy but to someone who doesn't understand how incredible the Supra is, it makes it seem like an old Toyota sports car instead of a timeless Toyota sports car.

I really like the look of that deep blue. Reminds me a bit of the rally blue that Subaru uses but a bit more metallic and flakes that are a nice touch. :)

If you paint it flat, black, silver, or dark gun metal, any of them in flat, it will show off the body lines of the car really well.
Never understood people wanting vehicles to be so low. Roads are bumpy and unpredictable. I'd be paranoid about clearance.
I'm from Aus. Right hand drive is what I know. I drove once in America from LA, south to the border, then back across to LV. Left hand drive was easy because of my years playing driving videogames. Love that turn right anytime, even on a red light thing, you guys do.

you definitely need to look at a candy or metallic burnt orange as an option for wrap as that just tends to bring out so much character in natural light
