For your info: Lara Fabian was born in belgium . Her mom is italian and father Belgium. She moved to quĂ©bec ( canada) as a young child and still lives there. She speaks french, italian and english fluently. She can also sing in 12 languages. Here you go! Bonjour from quĂ©bec Canada!! đđđđ

A lot of covers included je t'aime and la différence on my channel czcams.com/video/2Lgf7HpfXhU/video.html
No one talks about the almost flawless English...
Oi Tara. Por favor, coloque a legenda em seus vĂdeos. Abraços
I am no vocal coach , but if there's someone who can sing their heart and soul out in concert , that is Lara Fabian.
You must look up "Dimash" đ.
@@mychelleurias7412 Lara's resonance put down Dimash
Im not gonna lie. Lara has somethin powerful performance..
@@tunakazanci3075 they are both amazing and unique
Remember, Lara starts her singing carrier when she was 5y in Italy and Belgium, then she moved to Canada to pursue her carrier as professional.
Dimash is his follower for years as fan but, because of Lara's technic and her passion while performance in concerts and shows, he developed the art of singing almost same way.
If she had been born in the United States or England she would surely be considered by the media to be the best ever.
wexle bueno she is Belgian/ dearđŻ/^~^\
It's not the place more it's the time. she was in times of BACKSTREET BOYS and BRITNEY ... even Europe was crazy by them and the Whitney Houston craze (well-deserved craze for Whitney I have to admit)
You can't blame the audience if her publicity wasn't as concentrated as the ones for the previously mentioned bands and singers.
it's the agents and the sponsor's faith in her that failed her I believe.
But right now this generation appreciates her so much as I have started seeing a lot of Auditions with her songs in The voice France-Canada-Belgium...
@@renelacasse5765 she's italian...
Peter 02 sheâs half Belgian half Italian... but her nationality is canadian and Belgian

I wish more people would know about Lara Fabian.
Lara fabian and Monica naranjo â€
Iâm just now hearing about her and I want to go back in time and smack myself. This womanâs voice is like molten gold.
True, she's probably one of the best female vocalists I've heard, and I've heard a lot of them. More people should give her the recognition she deserves.
Honestly, she doesn't come from an area of the world that's really profound in Western media, so she won't be quite as publicized as others, but the amount of notoriety she has in Europe, specifically Italy, Belgium, and France, is really impressive, and she's really well known there. She might not be quite as renowned in the states, or even the U.K., probably because a lot of her music isn't in English. That being said, I'm from the U.S. and I love her music, even if I can't understand most of it, and that's coming from someone who primarily listens to metal and metalcore music.
I KNOW HER PERSONNALY QUESTIONS?
Lara's breath control in "You're not from here" almost defies belief
Je suis malade by her is amazing
Absolutely
Omg yes
Yes please
Cameron Hill yasss
And also "you're not from here"
Lara is an extraordinary singer, and I believe this live performance can be considered one of the best and brilliant songs ever performed. A combination of incredible technic, including clear voice, flexible Larynx for modulation in scale and sensual vibration, voice concentration and tuning, rhythmic and melodic perception, as well as correct and pure sensations about the reflection of poem and music sense, excellent facial and body language, are just some parts of explanations that can be indicated here. So, this great vocal Adagio has been tied to my memory forever.
I am SO jealous of anyone that specifically went to this concert. Itâs the best Iâve ever heard Lara sound. I canât even imagine how it would have been to hear this and Je Suis MaladeâŠI would have cried through all of it
The held breath at the end shows just how much profound emotion she invested in the performance. And that control! OMG.....Flawless!
AND THE AWARD FOR BEST VOCAL COACH ON CZcams GOES TO TARA FOR ACTUALLY COACHING US! đ
The most professional, detailed analysis I've ever heard...and I've heard many of them.
Lara is so amazing
And #MonicaNaranjo too â„ czcams.com/video/DhS9i2t8RWs/video.html
Fun fact ! Celine dion and Lara Fabian attended to Eurovision the same year ;-)
:O
And CĂ©line won it:))
Some One itâs an annual singing competition between European countries that most of Europe watch, ABBA also won it before
No way!
Yes dion won it and Fabian was in 4th Place. Fabian deserved to win too
Lara Fabian is the best female singer of all times. She is a woman "three tenors" of the world. Every vocal coach of the world needs to know her. The last note just shows how passionately she is singing and how much emotion she is putting into the song.
Her pharyngeal vowels and placement are so eargasmic her resonance is huge and so full and round đ
I always read that she uses this pharingeal vowels. And I'm not sure if I understand what it means. Which other singers use them?
@@Ignasimp i dont know of any other singers who not only open their pharynx to maximize resonation but also place their voices there like Lara does but Celine kinda uses them sometimes, Barbra opens her pharynx too and SoHyang opens her pharynx too
@@MariosPOS For me Lara has always had a very weird tone. I don't know why. I don't know if the pharingel vowels are the reason or what. Celine has a very different aproach. She is much more twangy. Lara seams to have zero twang in her voice.
@@Ignasimp Lara uses twang tho
@@uiteren2845 I suppose she does, if not she wouldn't be that resonant. I don't know what it is, but I find her tone so weird.
Glad to see you've reacted to Lara, she's an incredible singer but sadly, way too underrated.
There are a lot of song of hers that deserved to be listened to, but Broken Vow, Je t'Aime and Je Suis Malade (the intensity she puts when performing this song is incredible) are a must!
Since you're probably living in North America, she's actually a Mega star in Europe.
There are many singers with great vocal technique, but the qualities which make singer outstanding is their tone and emotions they put in the song. That's what connects them to the audience and that is something Lara Fabian have in large amounts! She's well known in Europe, I don't know why that's not the case in USA. Maybe because Canada already had Celine Dion (somebody said they both started in Quebec)... I love her, too, but Lara is on the whole another level!
As a french native, Lara is my ultimate favorite singer. I love her performance and her songs (sooo meaningful). I'll definitely would love for you to look into other live of hers
She was born in Belgium and moved to Italy due to her mother being Italian, but she now makes her home in Canada. She can sing in 12 languages. She has extensive vocal training. Look her up on youtube for more performances. Broken Vow is beautiful and she wrote that song. Another beautiful song Lara sings is "Angels Pass Away". Check em out.......
If you want to know how much higher she can go, you should react to her singing "Broken Vow" she sing even higher there but still doesn't show any sign of fatigue which is really impressive I think
UP
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she reached G5 there, with very good rounded upper tone
That song goes up to an A5.
And note that Broken Vow was the last song in her concert and she still nailed it!
@@steverogers431 Naturally she nailed it ! It's "her" song . She wrote it !
Lara Fabian's voice is absolutely exquisite. By far my favorite female voice. Love to play her especially when I drive long distances. I dream of seeing her live. Love her duet with Laura Pausini yet Lara Fabian wins my vote every time.
With Lara Fabian..... it's ALWAYS a MASTERCLASS performance
You have to check out "Je suis malade" by her of course, but also "Caruso" !! It's just her and the piano while she interprets this beautiful song in Italian (which is her native language along with French). It really demonstrates her incredible vocal technique and the full, resonant sound that she can accomplish
Btw, the best live performance of Caruso can be found by searching "Lara Fabian Caruso Live@PBS Haunted Knockout Better quality !" or "Lara Fabian Caruso digital clarity"
If there is a heaven, they would be playing Lara singing "Caruso" at the entrance.
Certainly, this is true! Caruso is a whole new level!
Caruso is definitely her best song ever. I mean, I know she's not the author of it and she's just interpreting it, but I don't know any singer who can sing it as perfectly as she does. It seems like an angel is singing.
@@YanBrassard yes!!! She sings as an angel echoing in heaven.
She is like a combination of Celine Dion and Barbra Streisand, her tone is kind of similar to Celines and her technique is almost as good as Barbras.
Omg that is exactly it. You hit the nail on the head đ
Lara has that glottal sound that I hear in both Celine Dion's and Shakira's voice.
The diva #MonicaNaranjo has a vocal range and a power at the time of sing more than all of them. She is amazing and try it here :-) czcams.com/video/DhS9i2t8RWs/video.html
She did say celine influenced her very much
I just found out that both her and Celine are full lyric sopranos..
I love Lara ! She has been criticized for having a "too strong voice"... So, to make critics shut their mouth, she performed a live "en toute intimité" in which she sings all her song softly, like whispering, to show she was able of anything :) I recommand you listen her live "en toute intimité". Besides, if you listen "je suis malade", try to find translation of the lyrics... chilling !!
They said the same thing to Jennifer Holliday and ruined her career. While I like Jennifer Hudson, it has to be frustrating to Holliday to see Hudson become a star because of And I'm Telling You.
Please watch her sing "Youre Not From Here." It's unbelievable. It proves Lara is an alien.
Any song from that live performance was perfection. When she sang Je suis malade and Caruso were breathtaking. Seriously, so good.
She's Belgian not French by the way ;)
"je suis malade" and "je t' aime" are musts ;)
Marios POS YESSSS I'm so proud that Belgium has a world class singer too!! Love her
Belgium FTW!!
Heeey I see you are a Sohyang fan too!!
@@lucasvanduren6210 yep
I was convinced she's Canadian. Usually Canadian singers sing in English and French
Lara Fabian is by far one of my favorite singer ( alongside Sohyang) ! She has more than 10years of operatic singing lessons behind her ! A lot of vocal teacher and people in the music industrie ( opera and non-opera) rank her as one of the most technically accomplished singer !
Lara Fabian, around that time (late 90's, early 00's), was an incredibly underrated pop vocalist. She was HUGE in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Québec at that time, but somehow was never a big hit outside the French-speaking world. Must have been bad management, but it's a real pity.
JE SUIS MALADE AND CARUSO LARA FABIAN OMGGGG
Lara Fabian a masterclass performer and a beautiful soul. â€
I love Lara , she is the best singer to me , so enchanting , so much passion and emotion in her performance , her vocals are out of this world.
There are no words to describe how amazing she is. She just takes my breath away. You don't have to be a vocal coach to know how amazing Lara is.
Je Suis Malade, Broken Vow, Love By Grace, Je Tâaime, Caruso and so many more... Her voice is, indeed, wonderful â€ïž
Je découvre l'incroyable interprétation de Lara à travers ces vidéos de "vocal coach react" et je ne m'étais jamais rendu compte à quel point elle était aussi technique !!C'est probablement la meilleure chanteuse française ...
Si ce n'est au monde ...
That concert featured some of the best live performances by any singer, ever. She was absolutely amazing on that night.
Lara Fabian Her voice is so CLEAN!!!
Je Suis Malade in 2003 is the best performance I've seen by her. It's just so emotional and awesome
Lara has no competition..she's phenomenal
her Broken Vow live is a masterpiece! Her diction and phrases delivery is so amazing!
The Queen Of Resonance
Wonderful reaction as always .. first time commenting tbh ..
I luv Lara .. she's my favourite !!
Other wonderful suggestions
1.Caruso
2.You're not from here
3.Je suis malade
4.Predere L'amore
Plz more of Lara
I highly suggest Caruso too! The resonance and belt is insane!
Please react to " je suis malade" from Lara Fabian. The emotions are INCREDIBLE in this one đ !!
Btw you look stunning !(as usual)
It is amazing how this angel incarnated in Lara Fabian transforms any song in its best version ... Indeed, when she sings in her native languages, her vital energy is multiplied a thousand times.
Two things.Nobody can sing this song vocally as Dimash, but nobody can make you fall in love as Lara Fabian. She is just another dimension.. Honestly, every time I'm hearing this performance im in tears..And im definitely not the snowflakes generation.
Is she getting more beautiful each video or what ? Like seriously am I the only one noticing this
Nope! You aren't the only one lol
the power of make up is insane isnt it?
yeaaaah, she is very beautifulll
Johnathan C Not the only, she's extremely attractive to me. Her voice, poise and personality is very magnetic to me
I think Jonathan was talking about Tara.
Yes Lara!
If you want another song to listen to you can check her version of "Je suis malade". In my opinion I never saw someone put so much energy into a song than this one. But it's up to you đ
And then again... It was a great review! it's such a great moment everytime you post a new video ^^
She is beautiful singer..and performer..beauty voice
Need another Lara. She is the Queen.
Lara is such an amazing technician, sounds like an angel ! Always on point .... Living each and every seconds of it !!!! She is the one writing and composing most of her songs ... What makes it even more special (â€)!
If you liked the breath release at the end, then you should listen to her interpretation of Caruso. Itâs seriously great!!!
Wow what a stunningly beautiful voice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lara is such a queen. I love her
This is awesome. I love her voice so much. I am looking forward to Lara and Dimash singing together. She indicated she wants to sing with him.
lara fabian - you're not from here ... all the singing technique in a 4 minutes video
sheâs an angel
My favorite songâ€
In France, lots of people make fun of Lara because of the "funny faces" she makes when she sings. Once, she explained that she needs to open her mouth or bend over the way she does to be able to give those kind of wonderful performances. I really love her, she's been my favourite singer for more than 20 years. I have seen several shows she gave in France, she is impressive and extremely talented. And she's the sweetest! :) Thanks for your videos about her, it's very interesting to hear a professional's point of view about her voice and her singing.
she's just FLAWLESS!
Lara is one of my all-time favourites. I went to see her live in Budapest and this was her last song!?! She still hits that top note with the most beautiful resonance. She sings in many languages with her main one being French. Actually, I would love to watch you react to her singing 'Caruso' - czcams.com/video/JWaWVBO5_F8/video.html
K. McIsaac in fact, she used to sing this song 1 semitone lower for around 20 years. She is actually 48 years old, and in this last tour she is singing it in the original key !!! And yeah, Caruso is just incredible.
Great to see you reviewing this hugely talented lady for she can sing anything from pop to classic opera and she can sing them in "9" languages including the so called hard ones Greek,Russian and Israeli .....wow she is terrific .....well done !! :-)
12 languages, she can sing in 12 languages! There's a good video showing all of them.
Is it any wonder that Lara has had such a dramatic impact on Dimash Kudaibergen who has obviously taken on her 'in the moment style', never once braking the emotional magnetic journey. This is story telling through music that never once lets up leaving an audience completely and utterly spent right up until with that last perfect note is uttered This is Lara's trademark.
Recognize beloveds, that the magnetics of the Emotional body, and the feeling 'sense-sations' it generates in it's listeners, IS the language of the soul.
Emotions, when Divine Will is allowed to come through unimpeded by Lara, never breaking once during Lara's sublime story-telling fashion, magnetically ensnares, and pulls it's listeners, completely enthralled, along a magical journey that elicits such sublime moments, as to induce what I call climatic, emotional orgasms. The physical body in these perfect moments is simply incapable of hold such intensity's of Love that this vibrational energy simply results in an uncontrollable overflow of involuntary reactionary tears.
Such incredible tenderness.
This is 'Love', the cosmic glue that holds all Creation together. This 'Love' as generated in the Heart, is what makes people's hair stand on end when they recognize that they are in the presence of a divinely inspired Master. And this, to me, is the ultimate aim and purpose of all Great musical performances.
These 'Gold Light Spirits', champions of Divine Will Herself, have always known that music can heal 'EVERYTHING'!
Lara's music; her signing, does just that and more!
In live she is excellent but if you listen to her studio version ( Vevo ) that ending breath sounds totally different , more like a part of the end ! She is unbelievable , so dramatic , so connected to it , as if she was telling the story of her own love ! Those high notes send a punch to the stomach every time i hear that song !!!
Dimash did a cover of 2 lara's song! Adagio in singer 2017 and The Love of tired swan which was recently. And knowing Dimash, it is epic as always! Lara aslo congrats Dimash for his adagio performance in the singer. Pls check and review them out! We love your detailed breakdown of vocal skills
As a fellow professional and classically trained singer who was lucky to have a great vocal pedagogy department at his grad school, I just want to tell you how great it is to see people like you and Sam who are bringing more concrete ideas of singing technique into the mainstream. I think too many people think that singing is entirely âgod givenâ, and that it isnât a skill that you can learn, when thatâs completely untrue! Keep up the good work!
Lara Fabian is one of the most beautiful women in the world. I came across her live performance of Je T'aime a few years ago. That was the first time I ever saw or listened to her and I was sobbing like a baby through the whole song. It will be a performance you will never forget. She is amazing!
She is belgian (her mother langage is french and she can sing in 10 langages). And for people who didn't know, she is the writer of this song in english and italian :) And I totally agree with you: the final breath is so good! The part she sang before is crescendo, powerful and very intense. And with this last breath, it's like all the intensity that was in her body goes out with this final breath: love it! And what I love about Lara (there is her incredible voice, technique, beauty, she lives every words that she sings) she has also delicious low notes (I dont know how to say), her voice can be very powerful and strong but also very soft and clear. And all the colours, the shades and details in her voice and the way she sings: a true silversmith!
Her Adagio is amazing but her best performance in my opinion is definitely Je Suis Malade. Or Caruso, that one is breathtaking as well. You should check them out, I would love to know your thoughts on them
Dear Tara, on this song and on this interpretation, you see all the cultural difference between Europe and America. In America, music has become just the usual entertainment tool. In Europe, music still has a content and emotional function that has disappeared in America (mostly)! Greetings from Croatia!
You have a very good explanation on Lara Fabian rang and abilities. I could listen Lara on a daily basis and never get bored.
I do not know which is more beautiful, the voice of Lara, Lara or You ... I would pay thousands to see you sing with Lara, it would be so much beauty together in this world...
Please react to her Broken Vow and Youâre Not From Here. Itâs from the same show.
Also watch From Lara With Love which is where this was taken from as she sustains the same vocal power for the whole show. Sheâs so incredible, one of the best of all time without a doubt.
I actually laughed when you said: â look at that jaw !â You really appreciate a good jaw đ
Lara is INCREDIBLE!!! đđđ
I find it very hard to listen to Lara. I love her voice and performance so much but she sings so emotionally and that has so much impact on me that I become so emotionally tired during her songs that I need to recover before listening another song otherwise I canât handle the new one.
Wow. What a singer!!
Hi Tara! Big thanks for making this reaction to Lara Fabianâs Adagio! She is my all time favorite! Iâve been lucky enough to be on her live shows... No words can truly describe the feelings Iâve got hearing her singing live! Lara is so unique, so original & so rare artist! I believe a lot of fans of Lara would really appreciate if you could do more reactions to some performances of her:
1. Perdere l'amore
2. Caruso
3. Je suis malade
4. Broken vow
5. Youâre not from here
6. Love by grace
Omg so glad you are finally reacting to one of my favorite performances. Lara is one of the premier vocalists of our time. Je suis malade, Caruso, le blues du businessman are other exceptional performances.
that 14 seconds Note, just melt me. So beautiful đ
Lara is simply the best vocal and human person!
1. I would like to say that you look (as you always do) INCREDIBLE
2. I would appreciate if you reacted to this LIVE performance of Shoshana Bean singing her rendition of Foy Vanceâs âMake It Rainâ all I have to say is THIS PERFORMANCE IS THE EPITOME OF SOUL! But I just wanna hear you say it haha! đđ
ALSO I would like your next BeyoncĂ© reaction be a more updated performance of BeyoncĂ© thatâs still a vocal performance which is her singing âAll Nightâ from her âLemonadeâ albumđčyou wonât find good professionally recorded vocal performances by BeyoncĂ© just hanging around CZcams anymore đ

Ugh my favourite!
I love your reaction to her performance. Lara has such a powerful, flawless voice, and ultimate grace and poise.
I could listen to this song ALL day.
Lara wrote this song in 1998 for her self titled English album, and totally sold me on becoming a huge fan.

The beauty of a performance like this is that it needn't be vocally perfect due to the emotive quality she exudes. I have hairs on my body I never knew existed but for the fact that they stood on end when she hit the notes. I've seen this video many times and it NEVER gets old. Je suis malade Lara Fabian plsss
She's one of my favourite singers, she has great live performances. I'd like you to watch her singing Je suis malade from that PBS special. I love her!!!
Whow this is the first time I can hear vibrato vs. straight tone thanks to your illustration! Thank you very much!
I've never heard of Lara Fabian. OMG what a treat....Bravissimo !!
If my soul could sing, it would sound like Lara Fabian. Don't need it to be Maria Callas. Lara Fabian sounds like mother nature.
Iâve always thought Mother Nature would sound like Callas, tbh. Capable of great harshness simultaneously overlaid with beauty. Laraâs voice is more ethereal. More like air and wind than an all encompassing force.
New to your channel & love your critiques! I'm a musical theater major grad and seeing your notes brought me right back to my vocal lessons. Excellent job! Lara Fabian's Caruso is live and not in English which makes her transition between languages so much more (in my opinion at least) impressive! It adds bilingual to her repetrior which is already impressive! Excited to explore your past videos. #NewFan đ
Sheâs a Belgian Angel who came down from heaven to show us mortals how lucky we are to have her here on earth.
