The Crowd at Toad's Place
The show at Toad's Place in New Haven was marvellous. Much jetlag within the band, but it was shrugged off for a fun evening - helped along by a great crowd. Reminded us why we've always liked playing at Toads.
Bill and I did a medium sized signing at Cutlers Records, a nice shop near the venue. I took some photos of Bill signing, of course - we saw a lot of the same faces later at the show.
Drove to NYC after the show, and now on to Philly on Tuesday - instore at Tower Records, and what should be a very good gig at the T.L.A.
Note: quite a few people have written asking if it's o.k. to take photos at the shows (unlike with Crimson!) I've contacted all the clubs, and neither they nor the band mind photos as long it's without flash.

After the day I've had and tomorrow is probably gonna be worse that beautiful music was just what I needed. I feel better already.🐘🥄
Bruford Drumming with his bare hands never seen him doing that before. Love these Guys. Doesn't seem like 22 years ago.
27:43 simply one of the best songs ever composed in history of music
HHHHHHhhhaaaaa HHHhhhhaa Yeah !!!! : D
Absolutely!!!
Bill Bruford is one the best Prog/Rock/Jazz drummer in the world and Tony Levin one of the best bass player !!! They only can do good music and whatever the musicians playing with them, they'll pull up them to Upper Extremities !!! When talent meet genius ;-))
Fact..
Bill is a phenomenal player, and this band really suits his style.
Botti has never sounded half as good. What an awesome band! Hard to believe it was 17 years ago.
Such exuberance. 👌
Being promoted on Facebook for dec 3rd.2023 ..nice!
Absolutely love Bruford . . and Levin is great!!
Good to see them both, here and on Crimson.
The musicianship coupled with originality. Next level jazz prog.
There is no pigeonhole. Botti up there with Presencer.
Four fantastic musical minds.
Ésto lo quería ver. Lo escuché por años y lo empecé a pedir y bueno, se dio. Excelente.
One of my favorite prog/jazz quartets. What a treat to see the chemistry happen! Thanks ever so much for making this available. Rock on!
This is Iconic! All the Members Kill it!
Im in Awe..so many years so late but as fresh as a Daisy..
Loved the C.D release so thanks for Posting.
Saw this show in Philadelphia! Thanks for posting and bringing back some great memories...
just saw crimson in philly a couple weeks ago, no bruford of course but still incredible
This is fabulous. Thanks for posting this.
Amazing! Thank you for posting indeed!
Excellent recording
Great, thanks.
I remember this show well.
Epic Gathering!!!
Gigantesco!!!
💪
Very underrated
Nice video!
David Torn has had the privilege of playing with two great rhythm sections. Bill Bruford, and Tony Levin + Steve Jansen and Mick Karn. Even Bill and Mick together.
David Torn also played with Mick Karn and Terry Bozzio which led to an incredible album called Polytown from that trio
it's amazing!
Очень крутой сейшн. Да и этот проект- один из лучших в направлении avant-prog.
Me gustaría ver actuando a Proyeckt One.
I believe this show was at Lee's Palace in Toronto, not what the title states. And I have been looking for this going on nearly 30 year!
Bruford did not play that setup 30 years ago. Try again.
If they say they went to Cutler's ("a nice shop near the venue", which it was), you can be assured that Toad's was the place.
says 'Toads Place' right behind them. And, I was at this gig. Def what it says It is
it's nothing to be afraid of, i have a crazy sister when she goes near my music equipment she makes it hiss. I think it's because of her mobile phone. Shes rigged it so whenever someone gets insulted in their ears people think of me. My Doctor is a loony too lol. Very Good Music i have heard Your Music on Sky Arts in the United Kingdom. My Sisters have a tendency to try and trip me up. I'm sorry if they were at Your Gig.
tennis w/out a net?
Without ball
You could sense me i'm sorry about that Guitars Kits burst i didn't know i could do that. ;-)
