Legit might be my favorite fanfilm yet. I love that y'all lean into the camp and have believably tied this into the canon thus far.
I love how even Hunk knows that Jill Valentine is a badass. When a one-man army like him tells you to not underestimate someone, you should probably listen.
Wow. I'm glad the HUNK is getting more part in this, unlike in the actual game. Nice touch. Assumed that during side mission Jill encounters him during her escape.

@@martmandred9182 we most definitely will! And thank you so much! I'm trying to be as faithful as possible. Capcom had to go and announce Death Island recently and I might have to do a re-write to make sure the stories don't conflict with each other. But I'm confident we can make something good. I'd LOVE to do a direct adaption of the first game some day too, but I worry about it getting shut down. That's why I went with an original story. But who knows? Maybe with enough support we can make it happen.

I really enjoyed this, but I did feel pulled out of the scenes when the actress for Alyssa delivered her lines. She seems like a really interesting character but I couldn’t get over how monotoned/flat her line delivery was.
I wasnt sure if her character is supposed to sound bored or serious?

Where would Claire have learned about Hunk? Seems kinda weird she would know him by his codename...where did they interact?
The story of this movie takes place between the events of 7 and 8, nearly 23 years after the events of Raccoon City. It makes sense that pretty much all the heroes would know who Hunk is by now. His involvement with Umbrella and pretty much all of his exploits over the last 23 years (he is regarded as a Legendary Mercenary after all and that's not a title you can earn unless people know who you are) would likely make him every bit as well known, even if by urban Myth, among intelligence agencies. There's more to it than that, but hopefully we'll get to show that part of the story in future installments.

SWEET CLAIR, LEON, JILL AND HUNK! NO MONEY FOR COSTUMES I GUESS! BUT OK!
Well, you're not wrong. We didn't have money for any of it. Lol! The costumes, however, are intentionally different but keep in line with the characters themes. The story takes place at a different time in-universe so they wouldn't be wearing the same outfits from one of the games. Hunk's mercenary work, for instance, hasn't been the best lately so his outfit has seen better days. Claire actually is wearing the "Made In Heaven" jacket from RE2R, you just don't get a good look at it in this part of the story.

@@brewedimages Well, I kinda wish you have. I mean you handle it better than the one's who make the "Welcome to Raccoon City". Imagine if you have such budget. It would be many times better than that crappy movie.
@@martmandred9182 We might run a Kickstarter to raise funds so we can do more with it. I admit, my ambition is definitely bigger than my budget so it would be pretty cool if we could raise the funds so I can do it the way I want to do. I'll definitely keep everyone in the loop.
I enjoyed the character, Alyssa, the most. It was fun to watch! However, Leon reminded me of Eddie Redmayne from fantastic beasts 😂 (still, I love fan films it's what youtube is supposed to be like)
At least this Leon is better than that from the "Welcome to Raccoon City".

Filming for part 2 is set to start in June 2023 and it should be released the same year. We will be starting a fundraiser next year too in the hopes of making it a bigger production.

They still collapsed. Even though it's giving a little away for the story, I will say that the reason Alyssa has Umbrella stuff on her computer is because she's hacking into old Umbrella databases for information. It's a tad far fetched, I know, but the RE universe isn't exactly well known for being fully grounded in reality. ;p
@@brewedimages Good thing, Ashcroft is getting a significant part in the story. I mean in the RE Outbreak she was irrelevant along with other characters there. Glad she was getting a recognition. Hope the other characters from the Outbreak too.
@@martmandred9182 I thought it would be really cool to bring in an obscure character from the RE universe. Someone we haven't really spent a lot of time with. I don't know if any of the other Outbreak characters will make it into the story or not, but the plan is to have basically every hero from the past come together. Eventually, Chris, Barry, Moira, Sheva and possibly a couple other surprises along the way.
@@brewedimages Then again, I really like the RE return to this kind of genre. Back when it's all about zombies, mutated monsters and bioweapons not about hide and seek in the house and horror movie theme like as RE7 and Village.

actually Clair should have ponytail hair and black shorts not gains .. and zombies should have white eyes (( because they r walking corps )) ..these look like totally alive people covered with some blood and jill clothes are all together wrong .. so no comment about that .. but thanks for the video and ( like )
The story takes place 23 years after the events of Raccoon City. Why would they still be wearing the same outfit? They don't even do that in the games.
