An awesome part about making this is you already have the groundwork and structures to remake Two Betrayals! All you have to do is change it to night time and change up all the weapon, enemy, and vehicle spawns!

it makes me so happy to see people making these sorts of maps, the detail on display is amazing also The fx bar crashing i found quicksaving twice always before and after the simulation build before running playtests. not that it'll help with budgeting, but the map data almost always corrupts during the crash/autosave so having one to load previous helps if you restart the game and delete the corrupted version. (i do wish we still had halo 5's options for the skybox objects and things like gravity volumes and hoped we'd get 3d volumes for things like water or rain/snow, among many nice things like an organized menu)
Only problem is there is no flood in Halo Infinite, so not really right now. They could make the map layout and geometry but that is about as far as they could go.
Holy shit dude, I feel your pain with the moving the map part and the lost hours, one of my maps I spent like 50 hours on just lost all its textures this season and never got fixed. I love forge but it can bring a LOT 😅 OF ANGER

Being tied to a server just to access Forge mode itself means it's just a matter of time until MS once again shuts the servers. Why people find this scenario acceptable is baffling

Halo Infinite's season 6 will introduce the OG MA5B assault rifle from CE, now I can enjoy your remakes even more! just wish they'd give us the CE magnum. they did it in halo 5 surely they could have done it in infinite.
yeah played it with 24 players it was fun there's also halo 3 sierra 117 campaign map in forge too its pretty amazing that infinite is getting better and better, there are also more forge map that i don't know of and saw a few clips and sounds interesting
Very cool, guys. And congrats on a very well made recreation of the level. When Infinite's Forge released I immediately got to work remaking the Halo level of Halo CE. During the process more features and objects were released for Forge. Not that it mattered. I didn't use the Bkeder hack, nor measured anything. I didn't even bother to use references because zi absolutely destroyed that level for the last 20 years. I know every inch of the level by heart. Sadly, I did not account for scale correctly and made the map's area twice as large as they should be. My plan was to start at the end of the level and work my way to the start b/c the levels end had the most play area. As a result, mostly of my mistakes, I never got past the cave exit before hitting the Forge cap. That's when I realized the map was FAR too large. I tried to adjust it but working on it alone, it became too large of a headache. I eventually made some creative license changes to it and turned it into a 4 team BTB map. I've not touched it in months and there are no scripts. Just basic NPC bot placements. It's nowhere near perfect and I can't say I'm happy with it, but it is fun to play on. If anyone is interested, it's on my FileShare and fully customizable. The Map's Name Is: Reunion Tour I think I have early clips of it on my channel as well. Again, I've not touched it in a good while.
And no, you don't need to download a gametype for it. As I said, I attempted to convert it into a Infinite BTB map for 4 teams. The terrain is also very off from the Halo CE level version. For my 1st attempt in Infinite's Forge, I believe it turned out alright.

I’ll say that the best campaign mission on Combat Evolved is Two Betrayals. One of the most difficult missions on legendary in the franchise.

It's crazy how weapon sounds and effects like the wraith mortars have somehow deteriorated in Infinite compared to CE.
