And since he said the windows are made out of steak, now you too can start your daily drive to work with steak and eggs! Come on down and get yourself a Yolkswagen!
You can use a police station in the race track and have super cars as the police car. You can add some mall asset as a car dealership to attract cars to the parking lot.
@@Vincent_A mastering vanilla cs1 is hard and painful sometimes, with few mods it becomes easy. Too much mods and you're stuck with a real city in your pc 😂
Man, I am impressed by how much life you're managing to squeeze out of Orchid Bay. I originally thought this would end several months ago, and now here we are, on what's probably your best vanilla work yet. Mondays feel much brighter knowing that you usually upload then, and I'll greatly miss this city once it's over. Thank you, Egg
Vanda Motors (type of exotic orchid) When you built the factory, my mind immediately went to Lotus, a supercar manufacturer based off a flower. I did a quick search for orchid names and looks like Vanda orchids are a type of exotic orchid that have some good logo design possibilities based on the flower while tying into the city itself.
The town of Carol was getting a discount for vehicles from the car factory and the people from Denise didn't like that since they didn't get a discount. Another amazing build, you are so creative and thoughtful with every build!
The software factory unique is a great idea, many cars these days have more software running in them than an a tablet. Very convincing look also with the elevated paths and with those two-wheel drives by the trucks there's lots to watch from there 😂 Here's hoping to CS1 content for a little while longer as I do enjoy it quite a bit more still than CS2.
Nows the perfect time to make a factory suggestion again! For the Lemonade Factory; on my one city, I created a Green Cities development with a biodome and vertical farm. The idea was that the Factory had funded a sustainable living residential development due to its enviromental stance and wanting to give back to the community.
i would use a plaza in there on the track that can be made to look a bit more like a pit stop area with some assets, it would cause normal cars to drive the full lengh of the track, if you connect the sliplane someplace else, that is.
The race track turned out really well using the highway roads. At those high speeds, I imagine there would be constant car crashes if this was in CS2. Gotta love 2 wheel cornering. 😀
You dont want barriers on your track.. especially on the bends.. you need to be able to run off in case you outbreak yourself rather than hit the concrete barrier
@23:25 We've known about Editing Egg and things that are left for Future Egg to sort out. Now we've been introduced to Little Boy Egg and his race car noises! 🤠 Meown 🚙 Your a good egg, Egg.
Tiny little nitpick: Runoff areas on race/test tracks are usually on the _outside_ of corners, because of physics and stuff... But otherwise this is a really cool build!
Definitely agree on loving the large factories, this one turned out great! I’m pretty sure I’ve seen images online of whole freight trains with cars on (I want to say Ford) so an on-site cargo station is not sully
I've just had a look on Google maps at the Toyota place not far from me in Derby that you was talking about and I've just spotted one junction down (southwards) is a place called Egginton 😁
Started a new play through of skyrim a month ago, it took me 73 episodes to recognize the opening for OB 🤦 hope you had a great holiday and happy new year OE, welcome back! Also loved this build 🤙
Really nice big build!! Looks great and suits right into that area between towns. It was an if it sits kind of area. Always amazes me how you come up with the perfect areas to do things in!! Well thought out, etc. 🤩
Hey Egg, love you here in BKNY ! The ' Y ' in the car symbol reminded me of a " Yolks-Wagon" lmaooooo I know I'm weird but I loved it and I love your channel !!!!!
Great video again! Finally the Car Factory build! But the 2 logos at the entrance of the factory, one logo is one tile closer to the entrance road then the other, so it’s off centred. Maybe it would look better if it isn’t a-semantic.
I think you might be the only cities skylines CZcamsr who is still playing cities skylines, the other CZcamsrs moved on to cities skylines 2. I’m still playing cities skylines as they delayed it the Release for console.
If you put a pit road along the straighaway with on and off ramps before and after the ones to the road and put a police and fire station on pit road, the fire and police will have to use the entire track get on and off the test track then.
T.G Motor Co. was built to keep up with demand for their insanely popular new hybrid car, Hammerhead Eagle i-Thrust. Which is a modern take on the wildly popular Geoff.
Car brand is certainly "Orchid Bens" insipired by Mercedes Benz - whose logo you almost copied there too (just remove the two lines that basically cut the circle in half and you have the mercedes benz logo)
To me it looks like a snake, I’d go with Ophidian. They produce Cobra & Python pick up trucks, Mamba & Anaconda sedans, Mussurana & Boomslang sports cars, and their prototype hyper car is the Taipan!
Some good names already... I thought Teggsla would be good Also, setting up a bus line round the track would get some vehicles on it - yes theyd be buses, but you know 🤷
I have an interesting idea to make the track more active. Put in a pitstop for exampl,e and put buses on them. Put each stop one behind the other, so for the buses to get to each stop - they must go around the track. As theres 1 bus per stop, each one will hopefully be used.
Watching the various trucks, campers, and cars driving the test track, it actually reminds me a little of the Nürburgring Touristenfahrten where the public can take their own vehicles on the track. It's almost like the test track is open for a track day, maybe like on the Top Gear test track.
@@OVERCHARGEDEGG My vote is for more electric charging car parking spaces to be added in any of your cities if possible. Essential if you're going to put an electric car factory in anywhere!
A brilliant idea to make a test track I think you should have some runoff area and gravel trap near the high breaking area of the track. And do you watch F1 cause you know all ot of the track terms?
You mentioned the Burnaston Toyota factory at the start. I remember studying it in geography at school. Apparently the final decision to build at that site was because of all the proposed sites, this one had the best access for golfing. Seriously. So I reckon Orchid Bay needs a nearby golf centre (if it doesn't already, it's so big I can't remember!)

Still enjoying Orchid Bay, but it looks like more and more people are watching CS2 content. Woud be an obvious choice starting a 2nd CS2 build and focus only on Thessia in CS1!?
It obviously needs to be named Yolkswagen!

I was thinking this or ToYolka 😅
For a small extra fee, you get a donut on your roof ..
I was thinking Eggsla
Perfect!
Yolkswagen gets my vote. :)
Yolkomotive Technologies, YT, to match the logo
That's excellent!

Yolkomotive, yes!

😮😮🔥🔥

The police station is the best idea! 🤯

Yolkomotive Traction is a factory that makes busses. You could make several bus loops on the test track to simulate testing/racing
So much fun in this episode! For the brand, the logo looks like an Y with a T maybe... You could call it Yotota Motors.
How's about Teggsla as a car brand? If you squint the logo even looks a bit like a T 😂
You dont want barriers on your track.. especially on the bends.. you need to be able to run off in case you outbreak yourself rather than hit the concrete barrier

Car windows made out of steak?
I was thinking leather seats, but whatever.
