Hey guys,
For some reason this episode just cuts to black mid-way through the detailing review. Usually this is a sign of me messing up something in the edit but I've been back to the edit file and the rest of the review is there and present alongside the usual cinematics at the end of these videos. I have zero idea how or why that has happened as they are present in the edit.
Apologies for the lack of cinematics, I'm currently trying to recover the data so I can reupload this episode. Sorry to those that enjoy our cinematics!
EDIT: Can't recover the footage. No idea how thats happened! I'm very sorry, I can see the end of the episode in the edit but its here, very confusing. We'll start next episode over here you so you gets can get the full experience of todays build!

You know what will really go good by the regional airport? Green cities DLC. It'll break the noise pollution from the planes flying overhead and getting ready to land. It's sufficient for a lot of things going on already, such as that factory just 1 mile south. I really enjoyed this overall.
Going to be a sad day when the node count maxes out :-/ loved the airport viewing platform, really nice touch having it elevated. I think after a bit of a hiatus a new cs1 city would be quite welcome!
Love the small town center build!!
Some of the small service buildings (banks, post office, med centers, etc.) might be good city admin buildings with some detailing and imagination if you do more of these small suburbia builds.
Will always love and support the CS1 content, but all of your videos are a joy to watch. Thanks!
Absolutely love your CS1 builds OE, will miss them all when you move over to do more CS2 builds will be a sad day :(, but understand you have create content.on what your viewers want, Fingers crossed you may start another city in CS1..
Fifth, and gee whiz I hope Egg starts Build Guide III in CS1 once this beauty finishes up. It'll be a sad day indeed!
It's bonkers how big this city has gotten. I'll be sad when it is over. I'd love to see another CS1 vanilla series. This would be fun since the game is "finished" now. You'd have access to shopping, parking, hotels, sports parks from the start. Granted this is a huge ask since Orchid Bay content is easily over 100 hours now. :)

The parts left and ride from the walk to the viewing decks would be such perfect spots for a pond and maybe small fountain in it - if it weren't vanilla CS. Being able to sit on the slope down to a bit of water and hear the fountain on a lazy sunday afternoon - so nice 😎. Also really liking the town center, organizing the shops around a central kids area - think it's great to have one without a unique in the center of the town. Great suburb, will move here when retiring 🙂
Hey egg, for a next build, you could maybe make a las vegas style build, like city planner plays did towards the end of verde beach to get some of the stranger assets used.
Great build! Really cool viewing park idea! Gonna miss Orchid Bay! Hopefully another vanilla build to come. 🤞

So no one is going to mention that ironically as Egg is building the Airport Viewing Center, there is a plane that takes off right on cue, and he doesn’t even notice it ❤ it was the most beautiful and amazing time match up (refer to 16:20) thanks Egg for a great build!
Orchid Chill. Sums up the Orchid vibe really well. I think the cool greens and blue of the map add to that relaxed vibe. The nervous cugas might disagree, though. Anyway, another very enjoyable build. I think the Green Cites residential/Pedestrian/King Leno shopping mesh together so well. Great combo.

Loved this episode as always. The town centre gave me so many ideas. Talk of the node count is so upsetting! I feel like this city and series has been a part of my life for so long. Pleaseeeeee start another vanilla CS1 series when this one sadly end. I'll miss it too much 😥

With all the folks saying they’ll miss CS1 content, and your builds over the years filling me with such inspiration and joy, I agree! Def want to keep the channel alive but will miss OE skylines 1 content 😢.
OE, I want to say something to you. few years back I went through some really rough times that resulted in, and being honest on the internet here 😅, a deep depression as the two incidents brought up a lot of childhood trauma and pain, and for awhile got lost in the sauce to say it nicely. Dude, your gentle and friendly and snarky demeanor, and your adorable accent, really helped me through, knowing a new episode would be coming, and such a backlog of cities to watch on your channel, for the last two years your channel has been a wonderful anchor for me, and helped give me something consistent and enjoyable to look forward to and your channel and community of such supportive, and sometimes tough fans and followers.
You say everytime you post that you’re always surprised how many people subscribe, reply, etc but man, you just give off such a great vibe, of course people like your content and support you! You’re a genuine and awesome creator who actually loves his fans for supporting him and still stays humble. Sometimes you may feel like it’s undeserved, but the amount of content you put out and consistently create with such enthusiasm is top tier, and you should be closer to 500k or a million in my opinion.
Keep it up egg, I’ve been around since you were back at around 30k I think and have proudly watched your channel and scope increase and the quality continue to climb upwards past 10 stars my friend. Apologies for the scattered nature of this post, but I’ve been wanting to say all this for awhile now, and in a much cleaner, drier place if you get my drift. Thank you for all you do, all your effort and enjoyable personality, and creating this great parasocial community for us introverts as well! I can't explain why but this is my favorite neighborhoods in Orchid Bay. Maybe it's the hill like you mentioned. Or how it compliments the sports headquarters nearby. Whatever it is, it came out beautifully.

can you pls build a secrect government facility beside the imperatur's air field. The cs2 shaped building will be a perfect fit, kind of like the pentagon building in USA, and other assets that can be pieced together with it.
Can I have a suggestion for a 4-way compact junction that is high capacity and comes from a highway onto an arterial? I kinda want it to look a little intimidating but I’d take volume over beauty! Any tips?!? Great build egg!
I'd probably have a look at Noob Yolk, highway flows straight into the downtown, otherwise Ilos has a lot of chunky intersections. Checking out the farewell cinematics of each should give you something work with!
Watching the stream and also this episode( which is excellent as usual), i wouldnt be mad at all if you installed the mod that cleans up nodes.
I can't think of the name, but i remember CPP installing it to clean up alotta nodes in verde Beach that were no longer needed and it extended the life of the series for many more episodes...
Just an idea...
City Planner was playing with pipes when he hit his node limit, he then removed them all. We've been playing without pipes since the start. You can go through your highways with network multitool to save a few nodes but its fractional
Sigh... hmmm ok. Yeah maybe it was multi network tool. I dont remember though i do remember nodes being marked on roads and he deleted them. I might binge through VB again and find the episode. I selfishly don't want OB to end yet 😂
