    1. make your bed
    2. put on workout clothes straight out of bed
    3. drink a glass of water as soon as you leave the bedroom
    4. respect your space aka 10 min morning sweep & clean up after self
    5. stop putting sugar in tea/coffee
    6. turn white carbs into brown carbs and half the brown carbs into green carbs aka veggies
    7. writing to-do lists (daily, weekly, monthly, etc)
    8. meal prep
    9. move your body daily
    10. seek out and surround yourself w a good healthy lifestyle

      Sweet! Thank you. It just puzzles me why she doesnt just say turn white carbs into half brown carbs and half green carbs (aka veggies) I really had to think to understand the way it is now like one of them math riddles you always get wrong 🤣

    I started my journey this past January. January 15 to be exact. I weighed in at 197 (200 had been my heaviest) and I was only 14. I was so ashamed of my body and how unhealthy I ate. I started counting calories and exercising. I went to the gym about 3× a week with my dad which helped me lose a lot of the weight. April 21 I weighed in at 173. That same day I felt very discouraged because I wanted to keep losing, but I felt very stuck. We were in quarantine so I had to do my own exercises at home, so I thought that the only way to lose weight was to eat less, and less. It began when i stopped eating breakfast. I started with not eating one of my meals (usually breakfast) then it turned into eating less everyday. I starved myself for months. The rest of April, all of may, and most of June (up until now) I would only allow myself to eat right around 700 calories, and I would cry so so much if I ate more than that. If I'm being completely honest, it did work. I lost all the way down to about 155. But, I can't tell you awful those weeks were. The pounds dropped off, yes, but it hurt my body so much. I felt awful, I would wake up at 3am in the morning barfing up stomach acid. It felt like people were stabbing me in the stomach repeatedly. I wouldn't allow myself to eat anything "unhealthy" because if I did I would hate myself for it. I didn't eat because I felt gross if I ate too much. I exercised so much because I felt gross if I didn't. I would eat basically nothing and then exercise for hours. I missed out on so many opportunities to embrace life and treat myself once in a while. but I refused to because I thought that was the only way to lose weight. I was obsessed with weighing myself everyday. i was obsessed with counting calories. The past about 3 weeks, I've realized how unhealthy it is. I allowed myself a week to get back (extremely slowly) to eating a healthy amount, and once again if I'm being honest, it was really hard. I did not exercise at all that week. yes, i gained weight. yes, my parents basically had to threaten me to eat. It was a really hard week. but after that, I began to exercise a healthy amount, and eat a healthier amount as well, and I'm losing weight again :) at this point in time I weight 151 pounds. I turned 15 June 8. I went from wearing size 17 jeans to wearing size 9. I can wear a size 6 in shorts. I went from wearing XL and 2XL shirts to Mediums and Larges. I've lost so many inches off my waist and all over my body. I feel happy. I walk every morning, go to the gym 3× a week, the other days I do Chloe ting videos, and I eat a healthier amount. it's been about 3 weeks since I decided starving myself isn't the solution. I feel so so much better. I have a totally different mindset now. it's not about losing weight super fast, it's about losing weight, slowly, the healthy way. I promise you, it's so much more rewarding when you take it day by day. I still have my moments when I feel defeated, but it's gotten a lot better. Please please learn from my mistake. Even though it absolutely sucked what I put myself through, if I had the choice to change it I don't think I would. It really helped me grow as a person and learn a lot about my body and a healthy lifestyle. I don't see everyday as restricting myself. When I wake up in the morning I look forward to eating healthy and getting my body up and moving.

      i'm so proud of you! after everything, you never gave up and you learned from your mistakes which is the most important thing ever! just know that you should be proud of yourself and don't restrict your diet too much!! most 14 year olds can eat from 900 through 1,100 to lose weight! please please please never feel disgusting if you don't work out for a certain amount. over working yourself will just make you feel stressed! you are loved and cared about xx

    The morning sweep reminded me of a good tidying/cleaning tip I read in a Buzzfeed article one time. If you see a task that needs doing and it will take you less than 2 minutes to do it then do it immediately, don't put it off. Eg. picking up something off the floor, putting away cups etc, fixing the couch cushions. Makes a huge difference!

    Thank you for sharing these healthy habits. You made a good point about content/people who are in tune with the kind of lifestyle you want to have. I constantly go between content that says "quick and easy" instead of sustainable and I realize that it doesn't get me any closer to my goals. Even though they're small things, it still changes my outlook on things that I want to change.

    Meals prep is my biggest weakness!!! I hate the texture and the taste of a freezed food !! It needs to be cooked at the same day , and ate at the same day ! But I love to workout at 5am before I go to work !! Totally agree , if u start your day with a + thing you will have a day full of positivity and satisfaction. Plus, I don't have to think about my workout while I'm working or driving home .

    Emma, your video made me tear up with gratitude. I saw this in my recommended list and I am always looking for inspirational videos to keep me positive about my life changes. It helps me stay on track. As you were going through your list I realized that more than half of it had already been implemented in my life. The fact that I could tick those boxes and that I am maintaining a healthier lifestyle with even the most mundane of tasks filled me with pride and self-love.       Leah Smoak i can recommend the nike training app, it‘s completely free and it has lots of workouts + yoga sessions & you can even ask the app to create a plan for you for about 4-6 weeks it‘s really cool

    My biggest revelation is realising that I am an adult and (COVID and the law in mind) we have the freedom to completely reinvent ourselves if we wanted to. Something that stopped me from doing that is worrying what others who thought they knew me might think. Maybe they’ll think I’m trying to be someone I’m not, or that I’m trying too hard or just asking for attention. After trying to think of ways to explain to people that actually no I just wanna do this for me, I came to the conclusion that they’ll either love you for it or they just won’t get it, but if what you’re doing is truly going to make you happier then it isn’t gonna matter. Life goes too quickly to worry about justifying why you’re suddenly doing something different and actually trying to better yourself. If you like some ‘basic’ trends that have been ‘overplayed’ and now you’re worried people think you’re jumping on the bandwagon, just do it anyway! People try too hard to avoid cliches that might actually be fun just avoid being associated with a label.

    Omg I enjoyed this video so much! I’m struggling with my messy/unhealthy habit life and trying to sort things out and lose weight. I felt that this was so refreshing, so calm and positive. I loved hearing that I’m not the only messy person out there with bad habits and that we are capable of getting control in our lives. The bonus tip was so deep for me. I think I’ve unconsciously been so afraid of change but I need to remind myself that it’s good and that most of the best things in my life have come from accepting and allowing change.

    I've just started a new fitness regime and I've decided to be more productive in the mornings and get my workout done before work. It's amazing the difference you feel in yourself actually following through with a change you've said your going to make. I am also trying to turn my healthier food into a positive rather the dwell on the things I wouldn't necessary eat on a daily basis. But just trying to turn all of what I'm doing into a positive. I've been watching your videos for a couple of years now and you probably inspire me the most. You have done great things and it's nice to see 😁 xxx

    This is a great video. I’ve been trying to form better habits throughout the lockdown and I’ve already implemented a lot of the things you talked about, however over the past few days I’ve been struggling with my mental health and have been slipping back into bad habits. I’ve really noticed how much happier I am when I complete all my habits, so I know I really need to get back on track. This video is so positive and motivating, and I just wanted to say thank you!

    I put off watching this video because I’ve been in a really bad place lately and I knew this would make me want to get back into the right frame of mind but I was busy dwelling on that sadness, today was the day and I’m so glad I watched. What you said about change was powerful to me, to accept change. I love my body but I’ve been wanting to work on treating it better, but I worry about missing out on good food or drinking with my friends, none of that needs to stop completely but if I embrace the change instead of fighting it I know I’ll have more success. This video was great, please make more! I’m away to write my to do list in a notebook instead of on my phone because that feels more like I’m solidifying my week haha!

      @Megan I completely agree, i have lost 25kg since having my second daughter and most importantly have kept it off by living a healthy balanced lifestyle. I love fitness but I don't have a gym membership, I do hiit, yoga, kettlebell and barbell training all from the comfort of my bedroom! Came in useful during lockdown as I was already in the habit of working out at home xx

      I would recommend doing CZcams video workouts and get a few workout pieces of equipment. You end up saving a lot of money from a gym membership.

    I've been doing yoga with Adrienne since the beginning of lockdown and it has made such a huge difference to my well being and my workouts. I also make my bed every morning and get dressed into my workout clothes and it preps my mind for the day. 👌🏼 great tips 💕

    Thank you for this video! I will definitely be incorporating some of these tips into my routine. I’ve lost 17lbs since the start of lockdown, but the past week or so I have felt lazy and unmotivated, so hopefully doing some of these things will help me get back on track! Especially the yoga, I’ve done it a few times and really loved it, but never made it a routine, so hopefully I can start doing that regularly! 🌸

    This video has been so helpful. As a 50 year old woman who has had a rough couple of years, 2 busy jobs and 3 children ive let things slip. I've gained weight, lost fitness and have health issues. I feel in a good place to get back on track now. I will be subscribing to your channel.

    I started following you from your weight loss video and you motivated me so much to start my journey! My goal is to loose 30lbs/ 15kg and so far I've lost 10lbs/5kg. I've been working out 7 days a week for almost 3 months and definitely what's different this time from other times I've tried to get fit is the reason. I'm doing it for my health and happiness and not only to fit in clothes. Hopefully in December I will upload my own weight loss video 🤩

    Brilliant video! This has helped a lot. I’ve just had my 3rd baby and waiting for my body to recover fully before starting an exercise routine again. I love the idea of Yoga!
