  • When I was looking for a waterproof seat bag, the one thing I wanted to know was "What can I fit in an Ortleib Micro?" This is what I can fit in mine, so it might help you out on your decision making.

I live in Wisconsin, USA, and do most of my riding outside of Milwaukee. Most of my riding is pave street and rail trails, but I may wander offroad once in a while.
Videos on this channel are filmed by myself using an onboard camera mounted to my helmet or my bicycle. Any music used under a "Creative Commons" licence, and is credited in the video. Any and all profits from these videos will go into bicycle maintenance and parts, as well as better equipment. There, I said it, I feel better.

Have a look at a trick of compressing the tube for on bike storage. Open the valve and start wrapping the tube tight as if you're folding a tent or a sleeping bag. Release the air as you go further. When you finish, close the valve and then you can think of forming the tube certain way - i'm thinking longer, less round may be better for you. Whichever shape you decide, make sure you wrap it/fold it tight and use decent rubber band to keep it from unrolling. You'll get a lot of free space. Thanks for the video

On a full suspension MTB w/a dropper post it's RARE to find a saddle bag that will work. Sometimes I want the option on my Stumpjumper to have a few extras, and this actually fits perfect NOT effecting my dropper. Clamp holds super tight with NO movement and hides right under my MuckyNuts fender too!
