    My fiido m1 pro max speed on the odo was 54km/h yesterday (on tarmac). I did not purposely tested it to see the max speed but that's just how it is. Usually I try to keep it within 20-30 because it feels unsafe to be on a light ebike too fast (I ride a motorbike too and 120km/h feels normal). Very powerful ebike and I've seen someone trying to sell it after one time use just because it is too powerful for him.

      My friend has the M1. He weighs 166lbs. And has got 31kph unlocked. Or about 19.2 mph top speed. That's not bad for a heavy bike like this with a 250w motor. What's surprising is how good this bike is on most hills. He has achieved 21 miles on a charge with the unlocked speed.
      I've had a go on it. And it is a smooth very stable ride. Brakes could be better though.

      @@kostaskollias82 I wouldn't go for a fatbike in the first place. I just don't see that much of a benefit it brings compared to regular say 2.4 inch wide mountain bike tyres. Both would be great offroad, while the later would be so much more effective and lighter in any other scenario. I'm not riding in snow and sand, as well as heavy mud, so maybe it depends on the use case. I have a Bafang BBS02 conversion kit on my mountain bike and I can't be happier. It has more torque, great 17.5Ah battery, proper suspension. And most important bike weghts only around 22kg. For 900€ you can get a similar or cheaper conversion kit as well as a decent entry level mountain bike (with budget but not no-name chinese components).

    A bike needs to be really serviceable over form. How annoying will it be if you get a flat tire?

    • @fender1000100
      @fender1000100 Před 2 lety

      Not annoying at all. You fill the tubes with slime to start with. This will take care of most punctures. Only a long screw or big piece of glass will require you to change the inner tube. And you can go a long time before you get such a puncture. Ive been riding my M1 pro for over 6 months. And have had two punctures. Both self sealed with the slime one on the front the other on the back. Just make sure you travel with a pump. And spare inner tubes and tools to take off a wheel and tyre and you are good to go. Too many people dont prepare for such things. And that's when you are in trouble. Even if you had a regular push bike. You can often get yourself home by just pumping up the tyre every few miles. If it's a slow puncture.
