    Great review, I got one yesterday and was clocking 46km/hr after unlocking. Got caught in torrential rain today tho and speed decreased rapidly so giving the battery a full charge and have a dehumidifier running beside the bike. I just got the M21 yesterday, but this is my 3rd Fiido e-Bike I've purchased in 7 months(also have the T1 & Q1S) & I absolutely love the M21, that torque sensor is buttery smooth, I'm happy I chose it over the M1 Pro, it was worth the extra cash! 👍
    I took it to the steepest street here in Reno, & if not familiar with Reno, were located in the valley of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, so it's hilly out here!
    I'd say it was at least a 35° grade & went up it no problem, even just with throttle.

      Hi. I'm thinking about buying the M1 Pro. But I want to know what will be the realistic range with it. I'll probably use Pas level two. We do have some small but long hills in the area. I'm about 75kg - 150 pounds.
      I'm planning to do some courier work in the future. So I need want to know if I'll have enough battery. I plan to ride about 60-80 kilometers a day. Thank you

      Depends on weight, temperature, speed, hills, start/stop. Faster you go, faster battery drains of course.
      I always found in most cases, the max distance that’s advertised for scooters, cut that almost by 40% if you are going the higher end top speed.

      Defiantly go for M1 pro. If you go on the Fiido website at mo they have the new Gen M21 available for pre order that is basically the new improved version of the M1 pro. The D4S is good i have one but the M1Pro or M21 are quicker and have much better batterys in. Fiido reakon a battery lasts at least 500 charges and you can easily get another on their website. Fiido defiantly one the best brands if you live in the UK for being able to get parts that's kinda why i stick with them.

    • @coaldust01
      @coaldust01 Před 2 lety +1

      I went for the d4s for 3 main reason, (1) portability, folds way smaller than the M1 and is easier to put in your car boot/trunk, (2) weight, I like to use the electric assist and throttle, but I also like to ride with the bike switched off, so as you can imagine, with the weight off the M1 and the rolling resistance of those tires, pedaling without any assist on the M1 would be way more hassle than the d4s, the d4s rides like a completely normal bike when switched off, a bit heavier than the average folder but nothing that you really notice, (3), desirability, the flasher a bike looks, the more risk of some chancers trying to take it from you.

      It's illegal on paper but the law is totally null and void. Or they would have to arrest and charge THOUSANDS of delivery riders for fast food companies like uber eats and deliveroo.
      Most of their riders have souped up bikes well over 250w and 36v. They have to. To get through a shift.
      So long as you arent speeding down the road at 30plus miles an hour on a scooter or noisey electric scrambler. You arent ever likely to have a problem.
      I've been riding ebikes of 350w and over for 2 years. At over 15mph. Never been stopped.
      If I see any police I simply start pedalling. REMEMBER even fit road bike riders can cruise over 20mph. So it's a stupid law.
      They dont like the fact that you can have a fast bike with a motor. That doesnt require a licence, road tax or insurance. As USUAL ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY THEY ARENT GETTING.
      That's why they set these ridiculous limits. Because they know most people will get fed up with being limited to 15.5 mph and go the whole hog and get a full diesel motor bike or moped. And pay out.
      But they can never enforce this law. Not ever. With a bike like the M1 PRO. Having pedals a chain and gears. Means they cannot prove you were using a throttle to go over 20mph. If you had a pure scooter or electric motorbike. It's another story. You literally wouldnt have a leg to stand on.

      It all depends on your weight. But even if you were fat around 240lbs like one of our friends. He has got 38kph on the M1 pro.
      I weigh 201lbs and get 41kph on it. And the guy who owns the M1 weighs 164lbs. And always breaks 40kph. He easily hits the mid 40s on a smooth flat road. The M1 pro is POWERFUL. Definately the best fat tyre ebike in this price range.
      You feel like you are on a motorbike with this beast when you pass 40kph. And yeah a full face helmet is not going to be too much or out of place on this beast. In fact you could wear the full clothing leathers and boots with body armour and a helmet. Then you will feel safe when you hit that 40kph PLUS speed.
      It's basically a motorbike that you dont need a license for. Just AWESOME. The pedals make it look harmless to the authorities. But this baby owns the road. And at a fraction of the price it would cost to buy and run a decent moped. Plus you can fold this baby and bring it in. So no thieving b##tards can get their hands on it.
      It's an AMAZING bike full stop.

    Fiido's pedal assist is the worst I've ever seen! It's not pedal assist actually, it just detects that you are pedaling (after quite some time actually because it's very slow) and it just gives full power!! no matter what assist gear/mode you 're on.. assist gears/modes only define different cut-off speeds for the motor so it stops when you reach that speed.. just awful!

    Fiido's M1 Fat Tire Electric Bike: A Legal Nightmare and a Waste of Money
    I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my experience with your company and the M1 Fat Tire Electric Bike that I purchased from your website approximately one year ago for a price of $1,079.00.
    Two weeks ago, while riding this bike on the road in the UK, I was stopped by police who informed me that it is illegal to use this e-bike in the UK on the road without a license, insurance, and registration, just like all other motorbikes. As a result, they took my bike and fined me £150.
    When I went to pick up my e-bike, I was told by the police that it was impossible to return it to me because it cannot be registered and the registration office therefore cannot give it back. This is a shocking and unacceptable outcome, especially since I was not warned by your company or anyone else at the time of purchase that this bike was illegal to ride in the UK on the road.
    I am extremely disappointed with your lack of transparency and responsibility in this situation. I have now lost both my bike and my money, and I feel that it is important to warn others to be careful when considering purchasing an e-bike from your company. I strongly recommend that potential customers do their research properly and be prepared for the possibility of losing both their money and their e-bike, just as I did.
    Sincerely,
    [Ata]

    • @Movelectrics
      @Movelectrics  Před rokem +1

      Hi Ata
      I don’t work for Fiido, I just had the bike from a company in my local area for a day.
      Side note: always check with your local laws before purchasing PEVs. The UK has still not legalised them or e-scooters. It’s a pitty you did not check. Hopefully the UK will get things moving.
