  • Neofinetia falcata have always had a special place in my heart. My first ever orchid (that I killed) and since over 35 years still always at least one plant in my collection. It also will be the last orchid I ever care for. It's tiny size, ease of care and unbelievable nice fragrance of the flowers will always have a place in my life. Here's how I care for it and some possibilities on how to grow them.

I'll be getting some of these orchids in a few weeks. Thanks for the information. I found it very helpful.

Your video is informative, I have purchased 3 small falcatas and I hope to see them flower next spring - you have given good information that I can try in caring for them. Thank you.

Wonderful video, thank you, Marc! My Neofinetia falcata is very unhappy right now. I made the mistake not to check the media in came in, and lost most roots as a result. I repotted it in sphagnum moss to try to get it to grow roots.

Lovely video Marc and the way you grow them on and in ornamental pits and other things is amazing, they look as they are coming along nicely. I am moving away from just moss this year and they chilled down nicely this winter so fingers crossed.

Nice demo, Sir! Love the unique potting suggestions. Interesting that you say "dry out quickly", sphagnum moss stays most for so long... Maybe, not sitting in water too long?

😮😮 what more can I say than I must do better. I love how you present yours, so unique. Those that you have secured on mounts, how do you intend to refreshen the moss and would this be done yearly? A very informative video, thank you.

Nice and informative video, and I like the music you used, thanks so much for sharing. My news don't bloom for me and I think it's because I grow them indoors and they don't get cool enough. How do you provide this for yours?

Nice video, thanks! Very informative. Love the way they look mounted in those special pots. I might have to get one of these plants to give it a go, would love to smell the fragrance. I wonder if they’d like it outdoors here in the Netherlands, but I’m guessing the humidity might be too low for them.
