For the first time a Dr Mario game got a complete story mode instead of just the usual marathon mode. Unfortunatly this can get kinda stressful. Your opponents play fast and will always ruin your plans. You can either play as Mario or Wario who has a slightly different story.
I'm planning on a Switch remake/remastered version which combines the stories of the two, you can play two player in story mode

Wow, this looks great! N64 games are usually quite blurry but this looks fine and crisp!
Makes me think of Kirby's Dream Land 3 on the SNES in a way. It looks like the game was not even made on the same console compared to most other games made for it, the art-style and graphic style just circumvents the technology almost.
Ha, they're not blurry. Just 3D graphics at the time - were polygon shapes. So when they make a 32 bit - Dr. Mario, such as this, they would always, totally come out fine.
After it skipped both Wii and Wii U, this is probably the game i'm most excited to see on Switch. Lots of memories renting it, even though, like Paper Mario, Pokémon Stadium 2 and Mario Party 3, it came during the system's final year.
Never played this on the N64 before. As long as the music still rocks, I would be down to try it one day!

I didn't even know this game existed and back in the day I was a kid with a N64, I'm perplexed to see a Nintendo 2D sprites game for the N64, sucks they didn't do more because of 3D being the thing on those days.

This is basically half-Dr. Mario, half-Wario Land 3.
Dr. Mario and the Viruses are the only Dr. Mario characters in the game while the rest are from Wario Land 3.
They should rerelease this game for the Switch. It looks fun.

To fight the Vampire Wario or Metal Dr.Mario you need beat the Ruby in Difficult Normal or high but you can't Lose any single round

Trust me I own it and I played on normal because you get to unlock vampire wario and metal Mario if you beat the story mode without losing only on normal or hard and it's a every hard game but really good game
