The context of the song is actually pretty creepy when you think about it, GLaDOS singing about Aperture Science doing what they must because they can while the scientists, employers, employees, men, women, children we're killed on Bring Your Daughter To Work Day, doing Science on the people who are still alive, performing sick experiments on the survivors, and she makes fun of the fact that Black Mesa that screwed up the world. It's very sarcastic, which was probably intended. I love it so much, though.
