GSX-R Clutch Change How to Guide Tutorial Suzuki 2001 Gixxer 600cc Restauration Rebuild Timelapse

First time changing a motorcycle clutch.
Clutch was slipping heavily at half-peak torque.
Got the bike couple of weeks ago and it seems most of the parts are 22 years old and more likely are in need of inspection and or replacement.

top tip, put the clutch plates in a smaller container and you can use less oil ;)

Spot on …. Is this exact same for the k1 1000 and same torque specs? Have a judder when pulling away from a stop , think maybe the washer plates , so going to replace the whole thing whilst I’m there

I have a '01 750. You should also replace the fuel line under the tank. It is about $50, manufacture recommends it be replaced every four years. Mine was over 20 years old when I replaced it.

@@custommodelmaking4969 I've got a 02 600 and purchased stock kit I have one different steel plate and three diff fiber plates guessing small goes at the end of stack and the other different one goes first and the 6 go in between
