    Nice video. We don’t get trains like those old EMD’s here in Gippsland

    • @Schony747
      @Schony747  Před 4 lety +1

      Very rarely anyway. You still get one N class loco hauled pass
      The Maryvale is the usual VL or G or on a rare failure you will see the B class make an appearance.

    Those old gm 2 strokes make an eerie sound.

    • @Schony747
      @Schony747  Před 7 lety +5

      That's for sure and some of these locos will still outlast some of the newer stuff.

      yeah its to bad they scrapped most of them i am sure they could still be used for our ever growing freight services.

      That was back in 2015. The B class still gets the odd run with Qube and is now in CFCLA Livery

    • @Schony747
      @Schony747  Před 6 lety +1

      Corel Videostudio. It's simple to use.

  • @victoriantransportvideos

    These are owned by CFCLA like now but metro use to pay for logos on the bs and other engines right?
    And the bs were also used by Qube like now?

    • @Schony747
      @Schony747  Před 3 lety

      Correct. Metro Trains hired the locos for infrastructure trains. Now the locos are hired by Qube BG in Victoria

    Since when did Metro run freight trains?

      @mickcarson8504 Před 6 lety +1

      Yes, they do that too. Anything to make money.

      I hope they do the freight trains better than the metropolitan.They are hopeless running them in the city and suburbs!

    • @hawthornvalley
      @hawthornvalley Před 5 lety +2

      They are used on infrastructure runs, such as when there is a derailment or accident where some or all of an EMU needs transporting to maintenance depots. Sometimes they are used when there is track work.

    so it's the north east line standard or broad gauge?

    • @Schony747
      @Schony747  Před 7 lety +2

      +Mitchell Theobald Both until Seymour. Then the broad gauge line runs off the Shepparton and Tocumwal and the standard gauge continues north east towards Albury and New South Wales.

    • @Schony747
      @Schony747  Před 7 lety +1

      From Seymour it used to be both Broad Gauge and Standard guage to Albury until the broad gauge was converted to standard gauge.

      Schony747 Yes, the Shepparton I remember back in the 60's. Barely 20,000 people in population and it had a Drive-in open picture theatre near the Broken River bridge (now shops). I used to swim in the local lake pool of Victoria Park. Today, it's no longer the Shepparton I remember, full of strangers from the shores who wanted their own culture, religion and churches and trying to change us all into believing their culture and religion is better than ours. Glad I left the town I grew up and loved.
