I just wanna see a montage of him running back to grab his camera for 80 miles
hahahaha
@@felipeheviamarcet7982 I know, it must be such a pain.... but totally worth it.
GREATEST COMMENT EVER !
I was thinking the same thing...very funny!!!
I think it's a drone grabbing another drone.
These types of vids are helping with the boring self-isolation
Same

So true!
I can't stop imagining him going back to get his camera after recording these scenes lol.
ok im glad i wasn't the only one thinking that, lol
IKR. I thought he was using a drone.
That's another 80 miles
It makes the original footage inauthentic in my opinion. I don't really mean that negatively either I know it can't be helped, but imagine if it kept rolling and you see him walk back to grab the camera, it would be a laugh.
Turning that 80 mile hike into 160 miles.
Before I watch the second half of this video I want to comment on how this impacted me.
I'm battling depression currently. Lost ability to cry, communicate with anyone I know, and know my path in life. I'm just a guy all alone in his mid 20s trying to take steps forward but keep getting knocked back. I know I can't die because that's something I never want to put my parents through. I was looking for somewhere to escape, or a country to move to. All those clips brought back memories and a rush of feelings. For the first time in weeks, I feel happy? Or something good. Hard to explain the rush coming over me. The beauty of nature can be incredibly healing, and I forget that far too often.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
People just don't have a clue of how beautiful this planet we are living on. we need to protect it and to nurture it. So it continues to glow in blue forever
Until population levels in nations are addressed that is impossible. Our capitalist system and globalisation is also at odds with sustainable and green living practices.
demonhalo67 i dont really want to get political or anything but we are living in the day and age where everything and everything is possible with the right minds and those willing to utilize. We found a bacteria that can eat plastic, why not breed and modify them to degrade them in a matter if months or years? Make them water recitant and non toxic. I dont want to stump human production by getting rid of capatalism or get rid of inovative techniques because those same bad things also led us into the age of acctually being able to find renewable energy, have the able to descover planets like ours which in time we can start a new and not screw up, to be able to genetically MODIFY things to make the more resistant, the competition in the market has led us to a conpatision to be better as well. And do i think that is a bad thing? No.
I'd love to see it glow in GREEN 💚 I do hiking vlogs as well featuring Switzerland. My latest vlog is inspired by Kraig 🤗

I'm speechless. I didn't know Chile could be so astonishingly beautiful. Great content Kraig, keep it up. Greetings from Chile.
You have such a beautiful country. ☺
This is off topic but, does anyone know if it’s actually safe to hike there? This seems like genuine wilderness. Wouldn’t like to run into wolves, bears etc

@@alb0zfinest is really really safe, non Wild animals, just carefull with the weather, like the experts say you can have the four seasons in one day, the best time to go is from November till first week of january 👌👍

In terms of natural landscapes Chile is one the most beautiful countries.
After seeing this video, I cant argue with that haha
Chile in the north have the most arid desert in the world and one of cleanest skies in the world, perfect to see the stars. At the center zone, enjoy winery valleys who have one of the best red wines in the world. Finally, south of Chile have many lakes, rivers and forest to explore. I recomend "Parque Nacional Huerquehue" and "Cerro Castillo" to travel into pure nature. Greetings from Chile ;)!
patagonia is the best
Totally agree.
Totally agree, I have been many times, it’s so diverse, viva Chile
More than 80 miles. You gotta count all the times Kraig had to retrieve the camera!
Thanks. Hope your backlog + vlogs last longer than the C word situation
Not true. Contrary to popular belief that’s not how he films these things.
@@Arcticfox7 Then how?
@@user-hh2is9kg9j it’s really easy. He first takes a quick 5 second video of what’s in front of him. Then later using video editing software he takes a clip of him walking then he layers it on top. And when you see his legs disappear in the frame behind grass of something, he takes the same video and crops it. Then re-layer it on top. This method is called monosaccharides filming. Many high production short films use this method.
@@ML-yi2tx that might be an option but if you watch the clips carefully you see that he interacts with the objects in the frame (plants, stones, etc). Also the shadow looks too perfect for a software edit.
Kraig Adams: self isolating before it was cool
Suberb, just superb.
Hmmm in Europe it had been already cool before, just a few 3rd world countries like america didn't take it serious till it was to late.
Btw those tents at 1:40 have nice social distancing gaps.
I thought: Wow, it’s crowded😄
Just pure bliss
Is he self isolating with his camera crew?? I aint tryin' to see some rich kid live out his dreams, homie💯
FYI for anyone planning: he keeps saying "Punta Natales”, but it's “PUERTO Natales” and “PUNTA Arenas”.
It's speaking with accent
👏👏👏
I watched this on a 4k 55-inch TV I recently bought. Dude, I had never seen such beautiful images on a TV screen before, it's amazing. Also, I had no idea that the country I live in was so beautiful. Thank you for sharing this.

Wow, visual poetry . This is a delight to the eyes, marvelous captures the true spirit of hiking . No EDM, no bullshit music, effects, commentary. Just silence, the trail, landscape and soothing ASMR music. Got to appreciate the level of detail and added effort of going back each time to get the camera!!. Hats off !

This is among my favorite of what I have seen from you. On the opposite side of what your plan is for this video is me. I am 80 and pretty active but cannot hope to do this type of adventure any longer. You take me to places I likely would have never gone but for sure cannot now. I put on my Bose headphones and watch on my large monitor and escape every evening. I enjoy our follow up explaining things about the trip. You have to understand, you take us older folks out of our living rooms along on the trails with you. I still ski and play golf and do small hikes, but you take me away to places I never went. Thank you.
Hey Kraig, this was just aired on Italian national TV, i wanted to let you know just in case you didn't. It was amazing to see you on there, hope for a boost in viewers/subscribers, your content is amazing!

This was early March 2020... Covid19 was already damaging the tourism industry around the world including my country (Chile). So I guess it wasn't that crowded by that time. I just hope this ends soon so we can keep showing everyone how beautiful is this thin and long country.
