Great Video; I found after a bit of struggling that it was far easier to insert the grommet into the tank if I first removed one or two of the lines from it first. Then; after the grommet is inserted the lines can be re-inserted.

You can find the part that goes to your specific string trimmer by entering in your model number at RepairClinic.com. The part that is in the video can be found here: www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Fuel-Line/V471001231/4960293?replacedManufacturerPartNumber=V471001230
Thanks a bunch. I needed this fuel line for my Mantis Tiller (2 cycle), and Mantis doesn't even sell parts on their website! So, I did a web search and your site popped up, with all those pretty parts! I suppose these things are pretty standard, but I tend to stay away from 2 cycle engines so I wouldn't know :D
Adding to the comments about reconnecting the fuel lines correctly, you connect the fuel supply line to the outside nipple the after blocking the view when connecting the clear line it is connected to the outside or left nipple you connected the supply line to, so which way is it?
Thanks for the great video. I have a repair kit that has all 3 lines extend down into the fuel tank several inches. Should I cut the other two off at the grommet?
I need help. I have a echo srm 225. The primer bulb only works if the return line is literally submerged in the fuel. Should it be like that? Cause if im not mistaken the return line comes originally as a short line.
If you are going to do a video, how about not blocking everything with hands and specifics about which hoses go to which port instead of just saying put them back on correctly 🙄

Sometimes in the middle of the night, my weed whacker starts up on its own if I forget to remove the spark plug wire.

Thanks I thought it was just me
Great video. I always wondered how to keep the engine from accidentally starting when I'm working on it...lol
Todd Wittman Thanks
Like, subscribe, and don't buy an expensive kit. This is a great video, thank you!

Does anyone know the inside and outside diameter of the Echo fuel lines?

👏 useless company video…it’s virtually impossible to get the grommet in the fuel tank…given the design/positioning
What is the third line for?
Supply, return, and vent.
I like how you skip why one line is clear and one is black
Yellow goes to primer bulb, black goes to carb. He did say make note of which lines go where
Where can i order a gromit for my echo weeder?
To purchase Echo parts click here: www.repairclinic.com/Shop-For-Parts/a26b349/Echo-String-Trimmer-Parts?TLSID=1943
Marcos Quiroz ....they can be found at your local home depot. Kit is about 20 out the door
Under $10 on internet
This design is horrendous. It is virtually impossible to fit the rubber grommet in the fuel tank. Sorry
