My 79 rally sport radiator bent outta shape too ,it looks likena real long sweep u shape ,the middle stayed in place and both sidss swelled straight up, i thought i would never see it again until i saw yours

the low speed fans come one at 225 and the high speed kicks in at 235 .... way to high. i replaced the radiator in mine and also wired my fans to run any time the key is on ... still runs 220 in traffic .. going to clip the center outta the thermostat and make it a restrictor, should help some
