the chinese elite army was trained and equiped by the wehrmacht, cuz pre ww2 germany had decent relationship with china
Germany and China were not formally allies at this point. The Tripartite Pact was not signed until 1940.
Excellent!!!!
Holocaust vs dino extinction!
CZcams: WTF?
The bomb will bounce off the shield, requiring more gravity
dunno man.. when they jump with all that granades, and said " im sorry mom" it makes me... daaammn...
bring rifle for gun fight but on close quarter combat
The chinese army lack weapons
Can someone explain why civilians are just tens of meters away across a river from an explosive firefight like that
那里是上海的西方的租借
Its a western territory in Shanghai the Japanese are not allowed to invade it
That territory was leased to either america or britain. At that time, the world war 2 was purely japan vs china, america, britain, france, nazi germany and the soviet union had not entered the conflict yet.
Shanghai was not allowed to be entered otherwise Japanese would have hence provoked war with US and Britain
They were Nationalist soldiers who were considered the elite of the Chinese military, they were trained by Germans but no German ever served in their units, and they had German made weapons and equipment.
Lol that last scene Haha What is that? Some Japanese Spa?
muy buena película pero exagerada pero se ve muy buena los efectos y la lines de acción.
Esta buena la peli, si queres ver una parecida sobre la misma guerra te recomiendo City of Life and Death
It looks like a propaganda film... Japan occupied Chinese territories from 1937 to 1945 (Capitulation of Japan) 🤫
Is actually as close to the real battle back in 1937 as any film can be, it was one the first films released in China about the heroism of the Nationalist side in WWII, so it says something about how well it was received in China and the world.
What do you think guys happened to japanese if the german give chinese a tank and armored car and German train Chinese like Wehrmacht? Hmmm??
刘炜,我们的变速箱坏了!!
If china in that nonet at least had more factorys and a good economy and wasnt divided like in that time
If on a paralel universe
China of that time had good economy, a decent amount of factorys, they would have crushed the japanese
Imagine they buy for example tanks, armament, or make the armament themselves
Japan prob dint even have a chance to advance some kilometers
China indeed equiped some P
German made PzKpfw 1 at that time
@@tinchorb1340 China had some factories, but thing is they're mostly in the coastal areas and were easily taken over. If they could build them like the soviets did in the Urals that'd be helpful.
It's more epic if the Chinese soldiers are trained like SS troops
this is called Sihang Warehouse AKA chinese thermopylae.
imagine what would happen when germans were sent to china earlier to train their troops, talking about like directly after ww1, the 20 year peace period, maybe if they even had half a million german trained+equipped chinese soldiers then they could maybe even hold out japan on their own and repelled the IJN's attack, with conscript soldiers as backup and support.
they were busy in civil wars
@@ifyouchingchongmeiwillding9395 "imagine" :)
Equipments is also an important factor like imagine if Chinese had German tanks the Japanese wouldn’t stand a chance
KMT fought japanese and loss many soldiers.
Mao zidong: my time have come.
KMT took 8 years, lost 3.65 million soldiers, barely stopped japanese military advancing to the remaining chinese territories.
Mao zedong took 3 years, lost 190k soldiers, pushed america military alone with other 15 countries' militaries from yalu river to 38th parallel.
KMT was doomed to failure, if it wasn't Mao zedong, there would be a Li zedong or Wang zedong
Mao and kmt has alliance against Japanese in www but after Japanese defeat kar betrayed mao and team ,also I do not like Mao because he is failure in making decisions regarding economy and growth and a neutral dictator but fact is that he unified China under 1 flag ,kmt is incompetent corrupt organization,What Taiwan is today is because before fleeing to Island they collect treasure with them which is base for their growth which in contrast to ptc it started from 0 and at present is 2 powerful nation on earth.
@Francesco Zhou KMT high officials were rich, not the civilians, that was why the Chinese citizens abandoned KMT
Mao did good coz soviet manchuria was given to them. If it wasn't they would have been attacking from the mountains with a large reduction of war materials provided by the Soviet Union.
why did they have to strap themselves with grenades and jump out the windows when they could've just thrown the grenades down?
dramatic effect lol
Because china wants foreigners to see and admire them, but in fact, it's the opposite LOL.
Nowaday, china bullies smaller countries, trash will always be trash.
The Japanese soldier held the shield, and if he threw the grenade directly, it would be bounced. The shield could only be overwhelmed by the weight of a person.
The Japanese soldiers had shields that defend grenades
@@kvs9585 what a brain washed racist, your exisistence is a waste of oxygen
This is like 300 from spartan but 800 from sanghai
i looked up the casualties for sihang warehouse and the numbers seem low compared to what the movie represents
War movies in general tend to have that effect. It's easy to watch a scene like this and figure that no one survived on either side.
"Chinese German" - Your history knowledge is - 0
It’s not far off cuz Germany actually trained some of the soldiers in the National Chinese army and even gave them some German equipments
Change your title please, your understanding of China's history here is horrible. Already people are arguing correctly the reason. If you really want it should be 'German-trained Chinese troops unit defends against Japanese attacks'.
This movie is better than any other west WW2 movie.. Great Job. 👍👍👍
Chinese German army fighting the Japanese. That is action packed!
The title is slightly misleading. There weren't any germans and they weren't even allies. You can search this battle on CZcams or Wikipedia
思ったより面白そうで草
They’re heroes from ROC(Republic of China), and their descendants are Taiwanese now.
LMAO, the vast majority of the Kuomintang troops remained on the mainland, and only a very small number of Kuomintang troops(About 600,000, compared to his army of 5 million) were coerced by Chiang Kai-shek to go to Taiwan.
whats the title of this movie?
in what universe that film takes place? but the visuals are awesome.
The Koumitang is the real China, true heros 🇹🇼
The Chinese themselves disagree with you losers though. Plus you're too dumb to even spell the name of the party that doesn't exist to obey you either.

>>> Excellent movie, *it would be good to see it in Spanish* . On the other hand, the German helmet (which many erroneously call: *"Nazi"* ) was adopted by other nations even before 1939 because it was perhaps the one that provided the greatest protection to the troops against the fragments of fragmentary artillery shells since the Great War. German? They are Chinese troops with German equipment. I think, this happened before the alliance of Germany with Japan.
This is Taiwan
@@peterkovinski8476 I know what you mean (chinese nationalist soldiers), but no. The battle took place in China. Taiwan didn't exist at this time, it was later founded by the Nationalist army.
Fun fact: some Chinese civilians even use the Nazi flag to protect their house against Japanese. Also there's also a German pope protect Chinese civilians in Nanking by saying he is a Nazi.

@@peterkovinski8476 did I told you to laugh? That was true event, I read the masscrase of Nanking from German perspective, the German said the Japanese is like an animal, who is thirsty for murder
Those are not Chinese Germans, those are just German helmets what Chinese used, Chinese forces that time used a lot of German aided equipment.
It's not aided German equipment. If you search up Sino German cooperation, Nationalist China purchased the equipment and invited advisors from Germany before in 1921 to fully develop the Chinese units with German equipment into what it was called the 80 division plan. It was to fully develop to use against Soviet Russia and the communists,

"Chinese German unit"
so if a Chinese wears the Stahlhelm and suddenly he becomes German?
there is no way you made that title because the Nationalist soldier used the German helmets.

To give a bit, the suicidal bombing is likely true, recorded a soldier yelled his name and home town before jumping out of window with bundle of grenade. Whats fictional would be the number. Yes that action was dump but consider it a desperate move.
Wuhan warehouse defence,1937
Sihang Warehouse, not Wuhan warehouse
四行倉庫保衛战
Missleading title its just some german equipment they sold to Chinese !... most of it was ruined in transport by salt water, just like few panzer 1 tanks !
