LJ Martin & BYU Football Looking For Marked Big 12 Improvement This Fall | BYU Cougars Podcast

The BYU Cougars are looking for an improved on-field product this fall as the enter the second season of Big 12 Conference play and running back LJ Martin said he simply wants to help Kalani Sitake and the BYU football program win at a higher level after the 2023 campaign came to a disappointing conclusion and he's eager to help BYU rebound this season.
LJ addressed his health status with Jake Hatch, declaring himself fit along with explaining what he's done during the offseason with running backs coach Harvey Unga to get himself into a position to lead Brigham Young University (BYU) to greater heights in their sophomore Big 12 campaign and he says his whole goal is to be the best teammate and player he can along the way.

Added 15 lbs of muscle means he is working in the gym. Which means his knee is strong enough to let it happen. Or shoulder. OR whatever. If he can grind in the gym, he's gotta be fit enough to let it happen. So good news.

The only problem about Martin, he is NOT a power RB and fast takes off…Hinckley Robati is an explosive powerful RB, and he cuts and makes tackles missed. He can play down field so well also. Robati is RB1 if he can stay healthy.
