I would have loved to have seen that. I believe the 1984 BYU team may have been the first modern 13-0 team. That was the squad that made me a Cougars fan for life.
And, also to think the bowl game situation with Wyoming, where a win and they go to the Cotton Bowl, and a loss kept them out of the bowl picture completely.....
10-2 Wyoming no bowl wow even in 1996 it was strange. Nowadays you get 6 you are guaranteed a bowl and sometimes with 5 with a high academic score (Rice, Duke, Stanford, etc.)

BYU had a good year but their schedule was disgustingly weak.

I was rooting for BYU but that wasn't right that Wyoming got shutout of the postseason.
