    Love this video! I have fybro too. Just started HP soapmaking yesterday and the stirring from yesterday, I can still feel my arms hurting today. But worth it tho. It's so nice and gratifying to see the results when the soap is done! Thanks for your video :-)

    I love your youtube channel, follow you and you are an inspiration. Thank you.
    Could you help me?
    I do the stick blender hot process like you. I use sunflower oil and olive oil. It gets hard super fast, make beautiful flavors.
    When I use it and the soap wets, glycerin forms.
    Is it normal to happen? I use 1800 g of sunflower oil and 200 g of olive oil.

    Thank you for this video on the 10 minute Hot Process Soap stick blender. I have been looking for a good video that helps you learn. Please give us more videos on this hot process stick blender. Can you share where you got your soap cutter ? I am looking for one that does not costs so much as I am disabled and on a small income but love making soap for my friends and family. Thank you again.

    nice video, i m attempting to hot process today, i have always used CP for years, so itoday im braving the seaven seas of HP soap making. I have 1 question though, just about every video i have seen on HP on youtube, the hobbyist throws in a chunk of superfat after the saponification is completed. SO my Big question is how much superfat do i add at the end?
    all of the lye and fragrance cals i use do have superfatting levels usually 5% - I USUALLY GO 6% BUT NOTHING IS MENTIONED about putting a chunk in later. is this a tip ? please explain, thanks!!

  • @tusharkathuria9
    @tusharkathuria9 Před 4 lety

    Can we use 15 percentage or 20 percentage basically less percentage than normally recomended like 28 or 33 of lye in water to get a fluid like consistency so that it is easy to pour in the end? If yes, than are there any side effects of using more water in HP?

    • @rustynails8756
      @rustynails8756 Před 4 lety

      The lower your lye % the less soap is soapnified I wouldnt suggest it. Using a bit more water just makes soaps need to cure longer but shouldnt be a big deal

    What’s the benefit of doing it this way vs cold process? The only difference I’ve seen is that cold process the oils and lye are cooler. But what is the actual difference?

    Can you use less lye I don't like my soap real lathery

    • @kitzcat
      @kitzcat Před 5 lety +4

      Angie Clark - The lye doesn't control the lather. The mixture of oils used does.

    • @biggsexiigurlable
      @biggsexiigurlable Před 5 lety

      So you don't need lye then you can make soap without lye and it still be lathery.

    • @kitzcat
      @kitzcat Před 5 lety +12

      Angie Clark - You cannot make soap without lye. It's the reaction between the lye and oils that makes it soap. Some oils increase lather and some make less lather. It just depends on the oils used with the lye, but you have to have lye.
