Barramundi are 58cm minimum in Qld, and it's good practice to support them by the belly instead of hanging them by the lure or throat. No matter what size but definitely the bigger/heavier fish.

In Utah, catching a barramundi is on my bucket list.
not that special. tastes like any other fish.. if you ever get here, go to the gulf carpenterior. i lived there. king salmon, 4.5ft, dew fish same , pomfrit 2ft, red emporer, 3ft.. plus, thats where all the trawlers come in, heaps of freebies. inc. huge mud crabs. i dont fish anymore, the fish in s.a. are what i used for bait. interesting place was karaumba. & burke town.. u.s. military were there..waiting for the japs to turn up..worth a visit..i was there 25 yrs ago..aaaaahhh,,,,seems like yesterday,, ooohhh,,, roo shooting too, & pigs.. i tried to buy land in elko navada, near the mountains,, imigration found out i was british. SORRY. computer says no....ausie, s.a. moonta bay..

I've always believed that Simon had the better driving skills and knew a Lil sum sumpin about off roading,and when to lay into it or when to gently throttle it. However this entire episode reeks of Simon either being a newb,a doofus,or faking it for the cameras.. jus sayin.. He has never,ever in the past 8 years or so I've been watching these 2, driven so less than greenhorn level and been "stuck" in such lame situations...
