You should use plugs for it, like you would for dry wall. You can get a special drill bit made especially for concrete and it makes the drilling job so much easier. You can use a regular drill with it. I'm doing that now. These special drill bits have a diamond tip that make the drilling more effective. They're not all that expensive, mine cost around 6 to 8 dollars. In a few minutes I have drilled a couple of holes in the concrete. Just in case you didn't know about the special drill bit. Make sure that you get the bit that the plug will fit and not be too big, otherwise it won't grip or fit.
Honestly, the most helpful video I’ve seen on transition pieces. THANKS!
You’re telling people how to do something that you’re doing for the first time wowwwwwwwww
Thank you
I did the snap in straps. They broke in a few months. Going to hardwood T mold and screw down.
Shouldn't there be an expansion gap to the vinyl?
Yes, he messed up
Yes, it needs to “float” over the laminate.
Do I need to screw them in? Screwing into concrete makes me nervous. Is that poxy stuff enough to hold it without screwing it in?
