Thanks for the simple and well filmed description. Made this simple install a piece of cake.

Thanks for great video. Simple install. Checked after 500 miles and was about 1/4 full.

I have the same JLT oil separator. I think it’s great. I went ahead and trimmed up the engine cover some so it wouldn’t rub or crease the hoses.

I have 35 k on my 2018. When I took the tube of not one bit of oil was in the tube. I also got mine for 50 bucks. If you go with the one you have you add another 60 bucks for laser etching of jlt or whatever the name is.

@@toby2581 calm down Karen. I was saying there was no oil in my oem tube and the one I got was the same without the etching. It works Karen, I empty it regularly and it separates. You know how in China they mass produce stuff a company will grab it put their logo on it and then send it to you. I got the same thing without a logo.

I would empty it every 3000 miles or so, give or take. I do it at 3000 and it is pretty full.

It unscrews pretty easy, just empty it with every oil change. Good to go.

Doesn’t it contact your hood? Makes it hard to close the hood?

Isn't it necessary to do this on the other bank as well?

Good question, from what I understand. PCV side is the one to be concerned about. Ninety-nine (not exact fact) percent of the oil will come from the PCV side of every engine; the opposite side is where the engine draws clean air into the engine.
