So far only JTL has an oil separator for it amzn.to/33OtSaP the don't have the OEM look as Ford Performance but they perform just as well and since they are black they blend in with the engine bay, while the listing says 2019 according to JLT it should fit 2020. Hi Metatron Men, I actually don't wash the filter element, I would worry it would introduce water or moisture into the engine, some paper towers should suck up any oil of it (I personally don't remove or clean mine, it it looks oily but not dirty), hope this helps!

    All 3 of them could have simply installed/supplied these catch cans with a drain plug with an OPEN/CLOSE ball cock drain....for got who made the one I have on my 2011 Mustang GT CS, but honestly, is a dream come true...no fiddling ,no unscrewing anything....simply remove the red silicone stopper, turn the level to OPEN and drain into a cup....easy peasy! It looks like the JLT only difference is it not painted black! wish I remember who makes it, I'll check it out and let you guys know!

    • @e.b.6766
      @e.b.6766 Před 7 měsíci

      I have a Full Race oil catch can that’s huge. It’s the largest of all I’ve seen. Also, it has a drain-cock for easy emptying. It’s made for F-150 EcoBoost motor applications.
      I modded my Expedition for its installation. Worked great!!! That is until I installed the Full Race charge air cooler (intercooler) kit on my truck; also meant for the F-150. One of the items the kit included was a TurboSmart BOV (blow-off valve).
      After the installation of those components my oil catch can ceased to collect any oil contaminates. Was thinking that was because they were released via the BOV.
      I’m now thinking that after all this time my BOV could be adjusted to a higher release pressure as I feel I’m loosing some boost under heavy acceleration. Thus, I may also be loosing the necessary vacuum needed to suck the contaminants in the catch can.
      Contemplating re-installing the Full Race setup because the JLT installed to take it’s place has such a small capacity.
      Maybe I’ll look at the JLT 3.0, or the Ford Performance setup.
      Thanks for the great review!!!

      Hi Die! Not sure if the Ford Performance will bolt directly to the Ecoboost engine. It may have to be modified to fit which at that point you may as well consider going with a fully aftermarket one since they are universal and the person installing it picks the hoses, clamps and location necessary for installation. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

    the inlet always enters the area of volume where pressure drop causes liquid to condense, and exit is after the filter or screen, which causes the finest vapours to collect condense and drop out , causing all oil vapour to be separated before entering the intake.
