Quick Tips: Listing Gachas On Marketplace

- Have a lot of left over gacha items? Want to try to resell them on Marketplace? This is my process for getting the items listed. I am by no means an expert at this, but wanted to record it quick so people can at least get started. Did I miss anything? Let me know in the comments.

The number of multiples of gacha on my inventory is of embarrassing proportions... I always thought that getting them listed on MP would be an absolute nightmare, but your video really broke it down to simple steps - thanks for sharing!

Love the video. It is easier for me if I see someone do it then I can do it. Now I am not so afraid, I think will try it. What do you do if you don't have the gacha image from the gacha event you got the item from? Or you forgot which event it was?
Seeking out images is becoming about 1/2 of what i do it seems. Usually i can get something from the store or the images on seraphimsl.com and if not then i just rez the item and take a picture. I am glad the videos help. I am very visual as well and its always nicer for me if I can see it done.
This is VERY helpful, thank you. One question: do you or anyone else know how to list an entire gacha set? For example, you have a full set of gacha collectibles and you'd like to sell the entire thing as a set.
you could always drag all of the items in the set into a single box or a single listing folder in marketplace and see it that way. A single new box might be easiest.
do you have to box the gacha items first or can you list them directly from the folder you received? So confused lol because I was told you have to rebox them to sell them.
I always box all the items i want to go in one sale yes. I am not sure what happens if you don't. Have not tried.
how do you tell if an item is mesh? i don't want to assume everything is mesh, wanting to see how to confirm, looking around in edit and don't see anything that sticks out.- the specific thing im looking at now is not clothing, its a structure
you can tell when you select it. That structure is the triangles that make up the mesh. It will look very different from a sculpted or prim object.
Great instructions but some reason my gacha aren't giving me an option to move to store but I have one made
my best advice in that situation is to verify that they do indeed have the transfer permission. Sometimes creators do use a box that is no transfer.
whenever I try to move an item into the Marketplace folder the program freezes then crashes. It just started doing that after several years, any ideas why that would happen?
No not sure. Might try swapping to the default linden viewer if you are not using it already and see if it makes a difference.
Amazing I am so glad I found this video, very simple, well explained and easy to follow. Thank you. One question, is it better to open up the boxes and if you do, can you move the folder to market place instead of the box?
you can list a folder, but it's always better to leave gacha's in the original package if you can. If you are selling already opened items make sure each unique item to sell is in its own folder.

I think you might need to create a store first from the marketplace account page.
