Buying Linden Dollars for Second Life doesn't have to be confusing. You can save a bit of money by using the limit buy feature. In this video I talk through the process.
I’ve come to notice that even buying Lindens at the *lowest* exchange rate can help you save money. I personally am not one for waiting 3 days or more for my orders to be fulfilled, but even then using limit rate instead of instant buy has saved me a few bucks that are DEFINITELY worth saving. I recommend it!
great video!! just a curiosity, how realistic do you think say... a 300 rate would be? I have no rush whatsoever in getting the lindens, and most likely I can only get the rest of the money I wanna spend next month anyway, so do you think that rate could be filled by a month's time?
If you do a limit buy the answer is it depends. You have to wait for someone to be willing to sell at the price you are buying at. That depends on how many others before you are buying at that price as well. The time estimates it gives at each price are good general guidelines but they are no at all a guarantee.
Okay because I bought some yesterday and I didn’t show up at all so it had me thinking that something was wrong with my car or that I did it wrong but I keep hearing that it’s gonna take a few days for us to show up
Hi i tried the option of best rate buy limit buy, but i don't understand if i can spent the linden only in the game and than maybe the society of this game they want the money back, i mean i purchased a little amount but i don't know if than i can use them inside of the game or they want back the money that i paid for that price, i hope you understand what i mean.
Linden dollars can only be spent in Second Life (or on the marketplace on in world goods). You can sell back linden dollars but there is a transaction fee for doing so.
@@DragonballZTime overtime the more you buy and cashout etc your limit will go up to a certain extent. After that you need to talk to LL billing to do more.

You can see your Limits by looking in the limits section of your dashboard.
