Nature overtakes yard//vines swallow house. Before and after clean up for free!!

- Hey. I am always looking for yards that need some help. I saw this house several times and realized someone was living there. It’s always better to clean up a yard for someone who needs it rather than just cleaning an abandoned lot. I spoke to the homeowner and found out he had a few medical issues that prevented him from keeping up with the yard. Once the yard gets out of control it’s hard to get it back manageable. So I offered to help clean it up. This yard is definitely in the top 3 of all time most difficult jobs!! The backyard was extremely overgrown with tons of briars/thorn bushes with very stron vines along the ground. There was about 2 feet of leaves and debris throughout the yard. I worked on the yard for two weeks a little each day. Some more than others for a total of 22 hours. Some might think it’s too difficult or waste of time but when you are helping someone it keeps you motivated and determined. When I finished he could not believe how great it looked and was very thankful and appreciated. To help me continue to bring this type of content to the channel please subscribe and keep watching . What a transformation - 22 hours of kindness & labor for a man & his neighbors!! I have watched literally hundreds of these lawn make over videos. From a forest in the backyard with vines and hidden sidewalks, decks and driveways to Houses you didn't know were there. This is by far the most challenging one I've seen yet. I don't know if you were screaming your head off while pulling those vines off the front of the house or being patient and jolly but that was a HARD JOB. You stuck through it all the way to the end and dang that's impressive.
Yeah it really is a ton of work. I didn’t think it was that bad at first but it took way longer than I thought . I have been doing yard work for over 10 years and I still can not predict how long a job will take me!!! Lol Thanks for watching and the kind words!!

Really open the whole yard up...made the house look nicer by getting the vines off it. That back yard seemed so dark...to many trees. Take a couple out and try to get some grass growing. Very well done!

This house was being "eaten alive" with all the Ivey and bushes all around. It needed lots of love and care...wow! What alot to tackle...I'm so impressed! It does a soul good to see someones needs met and follow through to the end! Thanks, over and over again!
One of the most intense cleanups I've seen ever. The brush in the back was covering the whole lot. And you took it back. The vines were covering the house and roof and you took it off. You cleaned this yard better than if it was your own. What an excellent job you did. God bless you for helping this man out.👍👍👍

Keeping up with my yard is what gets me up in the mornings...lots to do and there are a few blackberry vines/roots which so far have the better of me but I have great hand tools. Now at my age I remind myself to act my age don't lift it. This is a good example of why not to plant shrubs/trees or vines next to a building. What a wonderful job you did. Blessings to you. Maybe he'll hire you to get the vines and roots atop the ground...they are going to explode in growth now...

Wow!! It's amazing that you did this yard as a solo project. You really really made a HUGE DIFFERENCE in this yard. Seeing the “after” it can be hard to believe the massive jungle of the “before”.
My mom’s place is horrible after my dad passed in 2010. She’s 89 now and living with my sister. My husband is 73, took care of it as long as we could. He has agent orange, b-cell lymphoma, alpha gal, and is in chemo pills. We can’t even find anybody to work for money. Breaks my heart but there isn’t much joy in getting old, I am blessed and thankful for her but ashamed we can’t do more physical work. I have osteoporosis and broke my neck years back so I’m not much good either. Wish I could post pics. Dad didn’t have money to leave her as he had medical bills etc. All I’m asking is if you’re a believer. Please pray right now we find help we can afford and make her happy to see her home like it was. Thanks and God bless this man for what he does!
